Chereads / Me VS Dad: Hate & Love / Chapter 5 - I Heard Your Wish, Bella

Chapter 5 - I Heard Your Wish, Bella

Isabella was in her father's room. The room is bigger than hers.

Luxurious decoration with a minimalist concept, and according to her, the room smells too male.

Isabella was wandering, thinking what was going on between her and her father?

Right now. Isabella was wearing Dimas's nightgown. She not used to have to see his own father's chest.

For this current condition...

It could be said if her father's body was also her body. It meant his father's chest was her own.

"Ahh... I just remembered!" cried Isabela. She immediately went to bed.

She started rummaging through her blankets and pillows, looking for something she should be able to find.

"Where's the rock?" Isabela said and kept looking.

"Wait! Uhm, Last night I was still in my real body, that means the stone was in my room." Isabella straightened her face, with her father's sturdy body was still on the bed.

"Yes, my room!" Isabella exclaimed.

Before Nana pass away.

Isabella opened her bedroom window, looking up at the night sky full of stars shining beautifully.

She remembers the day before Nana died, making a simple birthday celebration.

"Hurry up, Bella! You have to make your wish because who knows, there is a kind fairy who will hear and grant your wish, Bella." Nana said cheerfully.

They looked at Isabella's birthday cake which had a beautiful shape.

A birthday cake with thick white cream. Plus a lot of strawberry decoration and some fresh green kiwi pieces.

"Whatever I want? It is, really? I can make my wish, Nana?" Isabella asked.

Nana was beside her, nodded slowly, and smiled.

"Of course... my sweetheart. Whatever you ant, Bella." Answer Nana.

"But it can't be if it's something bad about your father, ok! You have to promise me," Nana continued because she could already guess what Isabella was thinking.

"Ah... It's not cool if it's like that. Uhmm... Well, I'll think of another request," Isabella said and started to close her eyes.

"God and kind fairy. Is it possible if I can live happily together with Nana and ... my bad father?" Isabella's open her eyes became cynical. She recalled David's figure.

"But ... if you can't do it," Bella closed her eyes again.

"I beg you, please do something. I'm really... really... can't stand this situation. If only you knew. How sad and hard it is to be me." Bella thought, still closing her eyes.

"Perhaps... if that could happen. Seems like he could love me a little. Yeah... just perhaps." Nayla smirked and still closed her eyes.

Nana watched carefully, "Have you made your wish, Bella? If so, you must blow out the candles immediately. I don't want this cake to burn." Nana reminded again.

Isabella quickly blew out her birthday candles.

"Fuh..."

One blow of Isabella had managed to extinguish the fire on the candle.

"Bella? What's in your hand?" Nana asked, causing Isabella to open her eyes.

"This?" Isabella opened her right palm.

She showed a green stone that was similar to a crystal. The size fits perfectly in Isabella's hand.

"This is a rock I found in the backyard of the school. I told you about it, Nana. Did you forget?" Isabella asked, showing her eagerly.

"Oh... the stone. Yes, I remember. A magic stone, isn't it? The stone belongs to a beautiful fairy, just like you because you are beautiful, Princess Bella." Nana said, amused.

She remembered how Isabella had told her that she had met a little elf in the backyard - of the school.

So Nana thought that it was just Isabella's imagination.

"Keep the stone well. If it is valuable to you, Bella." Said Nana smiling.

Isabella had just celebrated her fourteenth birthday, but the next day she was surprised that Nana had left her forever.

Nana was found pass away in her sleep, all people in Mahendra's Family was shocked by the sad news of Nana's departure.

It was a sad day for Isabella. After arguing with her father at the funeral.

Isabella decided to stay away from everyone. The heavy rain didn't stop her footsteps from continuing to run away until finally she found a shady tree and continued to cry under the tree she found.

Of course, the place not far from Nana's burial place.

Felix, the bodyguard finds Isabella. Then he covered Bella was still sad.

"Miss Bela, let's go home," Felix said sympathetically.

"Why?"

"Why did God take Nana? Why not just my father?" Isabela asked loudly and meant what she said.

The sound of thunder roared. The bright flash of light didn't scare Isabella at the time.

She looked at Felix's face. The man was still holding out the open umbrella for her.

"Miss Bela, let's go home." Said Felix. He took off his coat to cover Isabella's wet body.

Isabella finally agreed to Felix's invitation. She went home separately from her father. Right now, Isabella had no other choice and didn't know where to go, but her home is the answer.

Very weird? Now there is only her and also the father she hates the most in the big house.

"Miss Bela..?" Lily screamed in surprise.

The young maid looked surprised, looked annoyed at Felix was beside Isabella. As if blaming him, which left Isabella drenched.

Immediately Lily took a towel and gave it to Isabella's wet body.

"Miss Bella, you can get sick at this," Lily spoke like a sob, with teary eyes. She rubbed Isabella's face gently and gave her a sad and empathetic look.

"Lily... hk... hk...." Isabella suddenly hugged the maidservant. Again she was crying hysterically.

"Nana... Nana is gone, Lily. Why did Nana leave me alone in here? I want Nana to come back to me?" Isabella screamed. She was crying in Lily's arms.

Lily had taken Isabella back to her room. Get rest and helped the young lady to clean up, change clothes and comb her hair which Nana usually does.

After that, she laid Isabella's body on her soft mattress and kissed Isabella on the forehead.

"Good night, Miss Bella, have sweet dreams," said Lily, turning off the night light.

Just as the door to Isabella's room closed, and darkness fell upon her. For some reason, the tears came back, making the pillow quickly wet.

Lily was still behind Bella's bedroom door. She couldn't hold back her tears for too long.

She was sad about Nana's departure. She didn't want to show it in front of Isabella.

Lily wiped her tears while she was still behind the door. Take a deep and long breath. She could faintly hear Isabella's sobs from inside the room. It broke her heart at that moment.

Still the same night, in David's room.

The man was sitting on the edge of his bed. Unlike what Isabela did, he didn't cry at all. But, just kept quiet and was thinking something.

"Is this sadness?" he asked himself.

It couldn't be a sad feeling. Because David never loved his stepmother. He hated it so much to his ribs, and shouldn't his feelings be happy? Because she was gone forever.

But there was a strange feeling he couldn't express, neither happy nor sad. Feel empty? But why?

In the quiet night of Mahendra's big house, the daughter and father could not sleep well.

Their bodies were indeed lying on the soft mattress, but their minds kept going round and round.

And out there. There was a figure watching, a figure hiding in the dark.

He knew that there was sadness in the family, and he could hear every whisper that came out of the mouths and feelings of the father and daughter.

"Uhmm... Look like I have to grant her request," said the figure, grinning happily.

The figure snapped his fingers, and a sparkling white light appeared from the flick of his finger.

"I heard your wish, Bella," he said, blowing the white light.

The white light floated in the air on its way to Mahendra's residence.

The white light split into two parts, entered through the bedroom window, and could penetrate like magic.

One white light entered Isabella's room, and the other entered David's room.

The figure was still watching from a distance. He was sitting on a tree trunk swinging his legs. The big tree in the yard belonging to the Mahendra Residence.

"Hopefully, this story has a happy ending," he said. Slowly the figure disappeared into the dark night.
