"Please wake up Lapland." Sunjack had the boy's collar gripped and shook him a little making his head wobble, still his eyes were closed. "Come on wake up!" Sunjack yelled frustrated, with a tinge of worry. When Lapland didn't respond Sunjack raised his hand, then slapped Lapland. No reaction, he did it again, but now Laplands green cheek turned yellow.
"Come on Lapland!" Sunjack raised his hand again but before he could do anything Laplands eyes opened wide, sitting up straight he immediately yelled. "Father!"
Lapland was a young man at almost five years old. He had yellow hunter eyes that made his gaze piercing, his red hair came up to his shoulders, was straight and unkempt. Perfect for him as it hid his cauliflower ears and almost made him look presentable.
Almost, as the kid was always covered in bruises and scrapes all over his body and when asked where they came from he never gave a straight answer. But most people could guess, as Lapland was a reckless kid and got into fights easily. It was that or he injured himself exploring the wild.
For kids of his age it was necessary to wear a white buttoned up shirt, but his was always left opened as he didn't care to close it.
Lapland wasn't a emotional type, he could take a punch. But when Sunjack looked in his brothers eyes after the kid woke up, he could see tears welling up.
"Are you alright?" Sunjack asked, the tears in Laplands eyes made him feel conflicted. "Where is father, he needs me!" Lapland asked, he turned his head franticly looking around, he was outside at the city center; city guards went in and out of the town hall, were helping the citizens of the city with their houses, helping the citizens with their wounds, finding the dead bodies.
It was apparent that a blaze was started in the city leaving many buildings in ashes, so even if the guards were wounded themselves, they didn't stay still too long, as they had a duty to attend.
"Do you remember what happened?" Sunjack asked, Lapland made eye contact again. "It was the middle of the night, father took me to the city center," he put his hand on his head as if he was thinking thoughtfully,
"I don't know what overcame him, but all of a sudden he was excited to show me what it meant to be a leader. Then... the city was under attack, dozens of Kinga soldiers came and surrounded the building. Before we knew it an enemy general came in Dad's office and attacked him, I tried to help Dad but the man knocked me out. What happened to father, is he alright?!"
Sunjack was hesitant to answer that question, he himself found out only minutes ago and didn't find the time to process it. Yet he was the one that was going to break it to his family. "father didn't make it, After you passed out it seems that they took his head."
a long silence came between the two.
Then tears started rolling of the cheeks Lapland, his long hair now covering his eyes, you could hear the young goblin sniffle not too long after. "It seems like I failed to protect him." "Don't say that Lapland, your still a child, you couldn't have prevented this." "Don't say that, don't call me a child either. I could save him, I know I could, maybe I could've done something different, then I know I could." Lapland slammed the ground with his fist, he sniffled some more, then he started weeping softly.
Sunjack could feel a thick lump appear in his throat. He knew what Lapland felt, also asking himself that if he did things differently that maybe he could save his father. He didn't know.
He took a deep breath, "You need compose yourself brother." "But Sunjack, what do we do now, what about mother?" Lapland asked, wiping the never ending stream of tears of his face. "A scout was sent to find the Kinga army, Soon he'll be back with their location. A messenger was sent to the barracks fort Juman, he will come back within two days with a five thousand men army. We will join these men in their strike against the enemy."
"We, you mean me too." "As your almost of age it's only appropriate for you to join. And mom... I'll bring the news myself." Sunjack felt that it was duty to do so, as he was the head of the house now. Lapland stopped crying, with one wipe his face was clear, his eyes still red. He nodded to to his brother. "Let's kill the man that took down father." "Of course."
After that Sunjack went home, and told his mother what happened to her husband. She didn't take it well and cried for a few moments, then she steeled herself when she was done. "Don't worry about me Sun, I know lots of things need to happen, so avenge your father..."

Capemun was riding on his drakera (a lizard like creature the size of a horse, and as fast as one, with colors ranging from green to blue. Having sharp teeth and a biteforce strong enough to snap an arm in two. Passive creatures domesticated by the goblin's and used as a means of transportation.)
for a few hours now.
The Hailan was bound with rope behind him on the sadle still unconscious. Behind him were the his fifty soldiers walking on foot, they were triumphant mood; laughing, celebrating, and patting eatchother on the back. Next to him on their own Drakera were group leader Rock, his hand were folded, and Alsem, looked down, pinching his forehead, his eyes closed in frustration.
"You said you wouldn't do anything against the innocent." Alsem snarled, "You still did why!" Capemun smirked, than bursted out laughing. "In a attack like this one a few innocent men are doomed to fall, that's the nature of things." "These people weren't a few innocent men, you left the city and it's people in complete ashes" "Don't you dare question general Capemun!" Rock interjected.
"Leave him be Rock." Capemun said calmly, "What can i say I broke our agreement, he can be mad if he wants to." "But then why, if you say you won't then why do? You let your soldiers ravage the city, and burn it down, that wasn't necessary." "Because we could, seventy men was all it took to infiltrate, and take the city elder." He bursted out laughing again, "If it's that easy might as well let my soldiers enjoy themselves and loot the city." He held up a bag that he carried with him in the air, "If I'm the most dangerous why not enjoy it, after all who's going to stop me, I know it's not you Alsem."
Alsems head fell into his hands, feelings of self disqust came over him, "I made a deal with a demon," he whispered to himself.
Later they arrived at their camp; it was previously captured city -Houken- near the Indra lake were there was plenty of water and food they could feast on for the night they stayed. Seventhousand goblin's remained here.
"Open the gates!" Capemun yelled at the high walls that hosted several guards. They had their bow and arrows pointed at the men outside before they realised who they were. The gates opened immediately when asked.
Capemun and his soldiers came in to the camp like they were legends, walking with their head high and their smiles shining. It was well in the afternoon and no one except Capemun and his soldiers had a idea of what happened. But from the way they walked the other soldiers knew that something had took place that night.
"Capemun!" A deep brash voice echoed the camp, "You foolish boy, were have you been, all day we've been waiting for you." A goblin with a wrinkly face, overgrown mustache and a grey pushed back hairline aproched the general. Though he looked old his physique was still in tiptop shape. Muscular with a well trained chest.
Capemun was slightly taller than most goblin's, but this man overshadowed even him. He was followed by two soldiers, both of them looked as dissatisfied with Capemun as the old man did. "I've been exactly where you think I've been father." Capemun responded, his straight forward answer didn't hide his smile.
"You dare disobey your commander in chief and don't even feel ashamed." The old man responded gritting his teeth, "tell me why I shouldn't strip you of your rank and send you home right now!"
"Look behind me father," with one hand Capemun picked the Hailan of the saddle and showed the boy to the commander. He was still unconscious, his feet dangeling like spaghetti "Apparently those Dangerang women can still pump out gifted children" "My God," The commander gasped, "If we can take this child back home-" "He will be a great asset to the state right father. But this isn't all." "Is that so..." Capemun threw the boy to a soldiers, "put him somewhere safe will ya."
Then Capemun smiled as he took his bag and put his hand in it. He grabbed a head and threw it at the ground, it rolled to the feet of the commander. When the commander looked down he saw the face of a familiar goblin.
He had grey hair and dark green skin one of his eyes was slashed, putting a gruesome scar on the man his face.
The scar had long healed, however it got there.
The eyes of the goblin were dead, looking at nowhere in particular, but the commander was all to familiar with those. "...You got Lapsun." The commander said quietly. "Yes," Capemun responded happily, "Lapsun the invincible, conquerrer of more than a thousand battlefields, rumoured to come out of retirement to face us with an army of five thousand, your rival, has finally been slain.
Wittin seconds the head was being swarmed by goblin's, murmurs were heard at first, but later people were cheering, throwing the head in the air like a volleyball.
"Enough!!" The commander yelled. Instantly the cheering stopped and the soldiers stood at attantion. One of them was still holding the head with a pale face, the commander walked to him angerly, and that frightening the soldier. The commander came up to him and ripped the head away from him.
"Lapsun has been slain, but we never disrespect a man in such a barbaric fashion! Go to your station's, all of you." After the announcement the little crowd dispersed, leaving the Commander to talk to his son. "You know you seem kinda angry," Capemun regarded, "wasn't this guy your worst enemy or something?" "...You did well son, the king will be happy with your feats."
At that moment the gates opened again, the rusty sound of the metal scraping as the gates opened drew in the attention of the commander and Capemun.
It was only one soldier that came in on his drakera; He wore no armor on his body except on his shoulders, wrist and legs. His mouth was covered with a mask, and his head with a hoodie. His suit was all black, and he had two daggers on his waist. Also his drakera was purple.
Capemun noticed that his eyes had bags under them, as he came up to them. He bowed to the commander.
"I see your still in good health Shindo," the commander said. "I'm glad I look like that, the truth is I haven't slept for a day." Shindo responded. He had a very soft tone, if you weren't paying attention to him, you would miss everything he said, if he said anything at all. "It wouldn't be the first time," Capemun remarked, "I keep telling you to sleep when you can." "How can I when you keep teasing me."
Shindo quickly glanced at the head that was in the commanders hands. "I saw a city in ashes when coming back, was it you that attacked it Capemun?" "Of course," "you do know we were going for Sandlam next right." "I do know that, but somebody that was tired from being on the losing side told me that Lapsun stayed in that city. I had to take that opportunity."
Capemun pointed to Alsem who was sitting against the city wall with his head slumped, he looked pale. Shindo looked at him then back at Capemun, then at the head. "Impressive." He said to himself but Capemun still said, "I know right." With pride as he flexed his arm.
"Now that you've settled back in," The commander interjected, "tell me, what are the movement of the Dangerang army."
"Yes sir, they are an army of five thousand men, units that come up in the Dangerang army are: the two, twothousand man units OneSun and Blackrock. The fivehundred man unit Antidam. The two two, hundred man units, Falgou and Leland, then there is the onehundred man unit, Jackmen. Their commander and chief was supposed to be Lapsun, but now I guess they'll have to find another, I suspect his second in command Janpo."
"Is there anyone noteworthy to speak of in this army?"
"Hmmm, this might sound weird, but the onehundred man general of Jackmen, Sunjack is our biggest problem."
