I didn't try to call him or ask him anything. I went back to my house without telling him and left him there. I'm not required by him. I turn and turn all night long, thinking about him. I was utterly killed by curiosity. My fingers continue to tap on the phone incessantly out of perplexity, as the phone's blinking indicates that I should do something with it. I would like to thank him, but he is furious with me.
Why?Maybe I should cook his favorite meal as a way to say thank you. He enjoys pie. Yes, I will give him his favorite pie as a gift tomorrow. When I go to sleep at night, this is the best thought. He will be impressed by me because he likes my meal.
May be
I went shopping early the following morning and got some blueberries. Now, cooking is my favorite activity. I went outside and sat down at my desk after setting everything up in his office. As work hours started, I kept my gaze on the elevator. I started to perspire a little on my forehead from anxiety. What if my pie doesn't appeal to him? Relax and think positively.
My eyes were on watch for the previous two hours. Why does he take so much time? Do I have something missing? His security person, Theo, arrived within two seconds. Why is Ronald not present? He appears hurried.
"Mr. Ronald isn't here." As soon as I finish speaking, he pauses.
"I am aware, and he requested that I deliver a document for him. He's in a meeting." Why isn't Ronald present? Why does that matter?
"Where is he?"
"Paris." Paris? I quickly rose up in disbelief. He's doing nothing to attempt to inform me. I abhor him.
"When?"
"You are Mr. Ronald's secretary, Miss Rose. You have a schedule." There will not be a meeting.
"Oh, I did forget. I'll see you then." I sit down at my desk and begin to contemplate when he leaves. He therefore chose to ignore me and leave without telling me. excellent for me. It's best if we keep things business-like.
I was depressed the entire day. Although Ronald isn't here, I can still feel his presence around me. He has no need of me, so it is equally my responsibility that I avoid him. However, the scent of his perfume assaulted me each time I entered his office. In my sleep cell, a feeling of wanting to touch me runs.
Quit now!
The office is closed, and each person leaves individually. Grabbing my belongings, I turn to head home. Once more, it is raining heavily. I dislike rain. Kind of depressing. Walking is the best choice at this hour because there are no cabs available. I abruptly noticed people gathered around something. On the road, someone was lying. In a downpour, people just converse. Why did they? I briefly stop as I cross the street, but when I see who is lying, everything freezes.
"Jessie!" When I shout so loudly, everyone makes room for me. In the pouring rain, she is driving. Her body seems so frigid. Putting everything aside, I'm attempting to wake her up, but to no avail. After that, I covered her body with my coat to provide some warmth. When I shook her, she didn't wake up.
"Jess!" Her heart rate was dropping. They don't make a call for assistance. They're waiting for the cops because they might have had an accident. Accident? But, praise God, she is uninjured.
"Make the ambulance phone call." I felt a lot of fear. What has become of her? Once more, the thunder entered my life horrifyingly.
"We could take her to the hospital." Without thinking, I accepted a helping hand that was offered to me.
Two hours
One for coming here and for the time they spent looking up Jessie. What caused the delay? My wet eyes let out heavy tears. Please don't harm her in any way. I could never get the hospital's odor out of my head. Every time I come here, I experience pain. Jessie is being tested by doctors. I believe I must contact Ronald. I did, but he didn't pick. It would be better if I left a message for him.
"Ron Jessie is in the hospital. Please call me soon."
"I'm sorry, are you with the patient?" A smiling nurse emerged from the building. Why does she smile?
"Jessie, sure, of course." I point toward her room.
"Please come inside." I nod and begin to follow her. Jess is in her room, resting on the bed, and seems fine at the moment. A doctor is nearby, inspecting something. but they are still asleep. Her color returned, and she once again exudes the most stunning beauty.
"She's alright; don't worry. merely sleeping."
"But what took place with her?"
"Congrats, she's expecting. It's only a flaw. We thoroughly examined her. She is very healthy and fit." My Jessie is pregnant. Jessie is expecting—my god, wow. My ears are defying belief. I just learned some wonderful news for the first time. Cuteness, tiny hands—heavy, joyful tears begin to flow. She will make the most stunning mommy.
I bet
Then delight was suddenly replaced by melancholy. I'm not pregnant; she is. So why not me? My hands reached my stomach. Why not? The worst aches are when I...
"R.."
"Jessie.."
"Jess, are you alright? Oh my God, I'm so happy for you." Her eyes darted between mine and the doctor's in an expression of confusion.
"Remember, you faint. How can you possibly be careless? You should take better care of your health."
"Wait, what happened to me?" I informed her later that she couldn't control herself because she sobbed so much. We both sobbed with joy.
"I assumed it was in my head. I have the impression that something is in my stomach yet."
"Like a very small breath." She halts her speech. Shit!
"How do you know?"
"Doctors advised me to simply rest when I arrived." But why do I feel so horrible about myself when I leave her alone? We returned home two hours later, and it was the first time I had visited Jessie's home. It's a gorgeous and spacious home instead of Ronald's, but it's the best. Everywhere you look, you can see her with Ronald and her husband. I gave her a cushion after she sat down on the couch to rest.
"What do you want to eat?"
"A little cake, please." Another chocolate smile appeared on her face. Though Ronald despises it, it is her favorite.
"In a short while. Call your husband until then and tell him the good news." I left her alone after she nodded and dialed her husband. Following so much tragedy, today is a different day for me. She seems so content, and I'm in heaven. Right now, her husband is not present. Because he doesn't meet her standards, Laura despises her husband, but Ronald is constantly on Jessie's side. What I desire is this. I am aware that Jessie is the object of his greatest care.
I laid a table for Jessie an hour later. Cake and food she loves. When she spotted her favorite food, she jumped.
"Jessie, please be cautious." She takes a dish and begins to eat.
"Easy Jessie."
"You have no idea how hungry I am at this moment. I believe I adore both your meals and my pregnancy. Yummy..."
"Jessie!" Ronald's voice appears out of nowhere. Why is he in this place?
"Jessie! Where have you been?"
"Here! Do you inform him?" She resumes eating as I nod. Ronald has a horrified expression on his face and is wearing business attire. After seeing me with her, he turns away.
"Come, let's eat, Ronald. Look at all the food Rose makes for me."
"What the hell, Rose? You messaged me regarding it."
"Jessie is carrying a baby." When I interrupted him, he quickly stopped and appeared shocked.
"Say it again."
"Jessie is expecting. On the road, she passes out. She's healthy and fine, according to the doctor." His mouth widens. He approached Jessie's chair and sat down there. I am still unable to speak. The emotions of a brother burst forth like pyrotechnics from within.
"I'm really happy for you, Jessie." I never before noticed tears on a stone. His tears are for Jessie. My self-control is also lacking.
"Rose, thanks for driving me to the hospital. If she isn't present, then"
"Whenever you need me, I'm always available. Be content right now." Ronald gives her a hard hug while laughing childishly. I can take a photo if I have a camera.
"I can't believe my Jessie is already moving forward. She is prepared to hold a baby." I see a brother hiding behind a ruthless boss and a haughty man. As far as I can tell, they resemble the same Jessie and Ronald.
"Be prepared to manage another toddler who is jumping." We all started laughing at once. tears of joy during pleasant times.
"Go eat now." I merely stand there and observe them. I currently feel lonely, even when I'm with friends. Both of them eat together while conversing as if I'm not there.
"I... I must leave." When I said that, both of them ceased speaking.
"No." Change begins with you. It's all wet on you.
"Yes." Both said it together. Again, Jessie's face droops. She is unaware that Ronald doesn't need me to be here for him.
"Go first and alter yourself. You're completely drenched. Eat with us at least once." I scooped up my belongings while shaking my head and forcing a grin on my face.
"She has some work to do. Set her free." The words Ronald said were sour. Why is he so angry with me?
"Then proceed to drive her home. Look at the weather, it is night. Insecure for her." Outside, ominous black clouds are pouring down torrential rain. I don't stroll alone at night very often.
"Fine! Theo is here; if you want something, tell him." We finally bid her farewell after he gave her a head-kick. He drives me back home. A fatal night with a fatal downpour.
I'm giving you a ride for the first and final time. Please keep away from my sister." If I'm surprised, I'm an idiot in this situation.
"I call her my friend."
"She is first and foremost my sister, and I don't want you near her." I felt my blood boil with rage.
"What's the matter, Ronald? Why are you torturing me like this?" My heart is pounding like heavy thunder. Today, I need a response from him.
"Rose, don't push me. I'm in control of myself." He turns and glares angrily at me. Holding the steering wheel firmly while clutching white. The fear of flashing lights is apparent.
"Hah, like you're controlling yourself around your employees." His body suddenly turned to face me as the car abruptly halted. I stepped back and created some space between us. Maybe voicing those words was a mistake.
