The group of three player's decided it was best to head towards Astoria's Kingdom where a marketplace filled with goodies and exclusive items can be earned through various fun-filled quests. There was also the DLC items stand where you can obtain the pre-ordered bonuses. There was a blacksmith as well who would upgrade your weapons and armor for a price of materials, gained only by defeating enemies.
The three of us split up for a moment to explore the kingdom's options and marketplace. When we all came back to meet up with each other, Cassiel tells us how she found out a way to add each other so whenever we're in danger, we could easily summon one another for assistance. As of now they wouldn't need it but an important tool like this can come in handy.
We could be seen venturing out of the kingdom to start the main storyline of the game while other players nearby are minding their own business, buying items and chatting with friends. Cassiel and Galanore were lucky enough to find some useful items and spells along the way there either laying on the ground or by loot drops from easy enemies.
Eventually we'd come across a hellish four footed beast known as Galios, The Horned Demon who has sharp claws and long horns after opening up two large doors to an empty building. As soon as all of us entered the room, the door closed itself behind us locking us in there with that "thing." Intense music would be playing in the background somehow.
The horned beast roared loudly at us before quickly ramming itself into me, causing me to get stuck between its horns, getting pummeled into the side of the concrete wall. I didn't even have time to react, it all happened so fast.
In order to defeat this boss without getting killed, we'd need to strategize a foolproof plan and fast! Cassiel was flying around him but got suddenly smacked in mid-air with his tail causing her to fall down onto the ground. I looked over at Galanore, noticing he's going face to face with this monster, his hands locked around the beast's. They were both pretty large so this made sense but he couldn't attack since he was occupied holding the enemy off.
While the beast was distracted this was my time to do something, I recollected myself before standing up, running from behind Galanore and leaps over him grabbing his axe off of his back and harshly slams into the beast's head, getting it stuck there.
Galios roared loudly in agony and pain after getting the axe lodgers into his head, pulling away from us before dropping to the ground, perishing to his demise and accepting defeat. It was our first boss ever defeated so a celebration dance was totally cringe but necessary.
Once the boss area was out of the way, we would stumble upon a lovey swampy forest with green murky water that went up to our knees. It even smelled horrible - on top of all of that, there's poisonous enemies here wandering about. They're not much to handle by ourselves but they were being a huge pain in the butt for me and my friends since we didn't have many poison cure potions.
