"I'm going to see Ellena first, Mom." Lucas said quickly swaying away from Briana. Unlucky. He was consumed by the temptation of his mother-in-law.
"It's okay, Lucas. There's nothing wrong with a man crying." Briana gave consolation while equalizing steps with Lucas. Making the man slow down so that the middle-aged woman can synchronize their steps.
Lucas didn't answer and just kept silent. Even though the man was washing his face so that no one would know that he was weak in facing Ellena's current condition so that he couldn't hold back tears.
"Where are you going?" Briana asked as Lucas continued to walk away from her. Meanwhile she had stopped in the hospital corridor. Right in front of the door of a nursing room.
Briana's words certainly made Lucas stop.
