Adley looked away in any direction as Livia glared at him. "Okay I did look at you."
Adley immediately confessed because Livia seemed to be getting annoyed with him.
"I wanted to take you home with me and have dinner."
Livia immediately shook her head in refusal of Adley's invitation. "Mr. Lucas has given me an assignment and it must be completed immediately. So tonight I have to work late."
Adley flinched at Livia's answer which was far from his prediction. At first he thought she refused because she was still angry with him. However, it turned out to be all because of Lucas. It seems that the man is still holding a grudge because of what happened this afternoon.
"Lucas!" shouted Adley hitting his desk which made Livia a little surprised.
Meanwhile Lucas and Ellena have arrived at their residence. With a little jog, the man circled the front of the car, then opened the door for his wife after opening the back of the car.
