" I can't believe you were able to slay an Angel. A being of god."
" A being of god alright, just not an Angel. Trust me, Angels don't look like that."
Me and Reggie are walking back to the village to tell everyone that the army was defeated.
" What do you mean my Lord, the Angels are beings sent by God and only the Cardinals, the servants of God, can summon them. If that's not an Angel then what is it?"
" It's a Hell Knight. A being created by the Dark Lord for his army in Hell. You could say I've slain hundreds to know what they really are ( Aka I play games)."
" What? Then why do the Cardinals worship them?"
" Probably because they are corrupted by the Demons of Hell and don't know what they are getting themselves into."
" But that would mean that the Pope isn't a man of god?! And we've been serving the Devil."
" Not really. There's no such thing as the devil. Infact, the Dark Lord is the creator of all things."
" Then doesn't that make the Hell Knight an Angel if true."
" No. I'll explain back at the village."
A few hours of walking and we finally return to Kindley Village. Mr. Kindley rushes to me and the Knight the moment he sees us.
" My Lord Ambers, is it safe, have you sent the army away?"
Sigh" Ugh, Yes I did. They won't be coming back." I say as I give up trying to make people call me by my name instead of Lord.
" He did more than that, he slaughtered them all. An entire army of 5,000 men were defeated by his hands alone." Reggie says with a hint of excitement knowing his pursuers were slain.
" Really!? My Lord is more powerful than I imagined!" Says Mr. Kindley as he jumps in joy knowing his village has a powerful protector." Ah, that reminds me, there's someone in the center building waiting to see you. Emilia has been attending her."
" That must be My Lady Resgold. She'll be thankful for your assistance."
Me Reggie and Mr. Kindley head to the main building. Once inside I see a young woman with silver hair and red eyes. Emilia can be seen serving her som water. The moment we walk in she looks at us and smiles.
" Hello, I am Tanya Resgold, daughter of Alfred Resgold the Baron of the Resgold province." She says.
" I'm Jake Ambers, Lord of the expanding Kindley Village." I say as I take off my helmet. Though the moment she sees my face she gives me a look of surprise. Guess I look better than they thought. I may have the body of a Demi-God that rips demons apart with his bare hands but I still kept my young handsome face and curly black hair.
" So how did you convince the army to leave." She says slightly flustered.
" Actually My Lady, he slayed them all on his own, even going so far as to defeat the Cardinals Angel."
Immense surprise can be seen on Tanyas face as Reggie spoke.
Sigh" Ugh, I told you it wasn't an Angel, it was a Hell Knight."
" Hell Knight? What do you mean?"
I then go on to explain the history of the Dark Lord, how he created all things and how he was betrayed by his creation who now calls himself the father. About how he became the Dark Lord and rules over Hell and seeks revenge by destroying worlds to harvest souls.
