Shizuri Mugino was feeling very confused at the moment. Usually she wouldn't like to take any crap from anyone. But right now, she was actually following the orders of some weirdo blue haired man she just met.
Was it because she was afraid of his power? Of course not. While Jellal was indeed powerful, she didn't fear him. She just saw him as a larger challenge she needed to overcome. It was the same way she felt about Laxus anyways.
Then what was it? Was it the fact that he was noticably handsome. No, Mugino didn't let men seduce her that easily. Then what the heck was it?
At the moment, she, Shiage, and Saiai were currently walking through a port city called Hargeon. (Quick trivia, Hargeon is where Natsu and Lucy first met, and where Lucy bought Plue's key.)3
"This is just super amazing!" said Saiai enthusiastically looking around the town. "This place is so super pretty!"
"And in a moment it's about to become a full blown battle field." said Shizuri. "So don't become too attatched."
"Why are we helping this Jellal guy anyways?" said Shiage. "I mean, I never really took you for the type to listen to that guy."
"Well this is a war.." said Shizuri. "And considering the fact that if side loses the world ends...I think it's time we straightened up our priorities."
Shiage raised an eyebrow like he didn't quite believe what Shizuri was saying, but didn't comment too much on it.
"Anyways..." said Shizuri. "I can't believe I'm actually saying this..but it looks like we're going to have to help that Railgun after all...how annoying."
Shizuri stopped next to what appeared to be the door to an inn she kicked it open and walked inside followed by Saiai and Shiage.
"Excuse me.." Shizuri said to the lady at the front desk. "But I believe a certain somebody we're looking for is staying at this inn."
"Th-there is o-only one person that's staying at this inn currently..." said the lady gulping and shivering. "A-and I'm afraid he d-doesn't appreciate visitors..."
"That's all I need to hear." said Shizuri. "Which room?"
"t-two thirteen."
Shizuri nodded at the others and they trecked up the stairway to the left of the front desk. They came upon a doorway in the hall of the second floor that said 213. Shizuri kicked the door open, breaking the lock.
Sitting in the middle of the extremely large room, was large mass covered in black cloth.. The mass spoke in it's deep slow voice. "I don't remember your scent...who are you?"
"That doesn't matter." said Saiai as she suddenly became very serious. "We're here for information...that's all you need to know.."
The huge mass give a low growling sigh. "Such a young girl...talking as if she has the power to move mountains....how very boring.."
The mass got to it's feet and the black cloth fell off to reveal a hulk of a monstrous muscular man with wild black hair and extremely sharp teeth. Gore Beastwalker turned his monstrous body to look at I.T.E.M. "Hmm...I don't sense any overwhelming amount of magic energy from you...yet your faces say that you'll fight for your answers if you have to...boring...the only one who ever gave me a fight that was worthy of remembering had a vast amount of magic power. That Laxus Dreyar."
Shizuri's expression suddenly looked very cold. "Interesting...I'm also interested in beating that guy to a pulp."
"Well I'm afraid whatever answers you seek, I'm not in the mood to give any." said Gore. "Come back when you actually have the means to force me."
Suddenly a bright photon beam blasted the bed next to Gore which exploded into nothingness.
Gore stared at the spot that the bed used to be. "So...you are an esper. That would explain your blatant overconfidence."
"You're going to tell us what we need to know." Growled Shizuri. "Or you'll end up like that bed."
"Well she's more impatient then usual.." Shiage muttered.
Gore stared at Shizuri for a minute then began to chuckle. "How naive...very well...I will give you what you seem to be begging for."
"Really?" said Shizuri feeling a little surprised.
"Yes...your death."
Gore raised his fists which instantly became surrounded in black energy as rocky earth formed into a club around his hands. "Rock Rumble of the Earth God!"
"SAIAI NOW!!" Shizuri conjured up several energy spheres which blasted some photon beams straight into Gore's fists as he brought them down at her.
The rocky earth disintegrated from Gore's fists and Saiai moved straight in and slapped a hand into Gore's chest. The monster sized man flew through the wall of the inn and fell into the street below.
Gore opened his mouth and let a massive geyser of earth and black aura shoot out at the group. Shizuri formed a Meltdowner Shield in front of the group, disintegrating the blast.
"Well well well.." said Gore as people in the streets around him ran away in a panic. "Could you perhaps match me in strength?"
Shizuri jumped down from the room and fired several more beams at Gore. The photon beams collided with Gore with tremendous force, creating a large dust cloud around him. However when the dust cloud cleared, Gore was still there, his arms up in front of him with two scars where they beams had collided.
"Hmm..." said Gore. "Perhaps not.."
Gore moved in quickly and raised his fist, only to ram it against Shizuri's Meltdowner shield. However, instead of instantly pulling back like most foes would when slamming their fists against energy meant to break down any matter, Gore kept on pressing his fist in further and rammed his other fist down on Shizuri's shield. In a matter of seconds, the energy dissapated and Gore's fists bore down on Shizuri.
Had it not been for Saiai at that moment, Shizuri would have been crushed to peices. Saiai moved in between Gore and Shizuri and used her Offense Armor to knock Gore's arm aside with a thrust from her hand.
"Hmph.." said Gore. "A layer of nitrogen to provide defense...how quaint." Gore back handed Saiai with a massive hand, and she was instantly thrown into the air where she crashed into a nearby building that collapsed on top of her.
Shizuri gritted her teeth furiously. "You freaking bastard!!"
Shizuri conjured four beams which colided with each other to form one large massive beam that blasted itself straight into Gore's chest. Gore was blasted backwards, his feet dragged gouges in the ground as he fell back a few feet.
Gore looked at the long smoking scar across his chest. "Was that your most powerful move? How boring."
Shizuri stepped back in utter shock. "H-how!? My ability should have broken you down to nothing!"
"An Earth God's skin is comprised of an armor and invulnerability like any other. And the bears of my race have a hide that resists against many powers...you will find that these two things in combination make my defenses nearly impenetrable." said Gore.
Gore lumbered forward as his body began to change and grow larger. "Now...die before me...puny esper."
In an instant, Gore became a tremendous monstrous bear that towered over the buildings of Hargeon. He opened his maw and roared at the stunned Shizuri.
Gore raised a massive paw and swiped it at Shizuri who immediately formed a Meltdowner Shield at her side and blocked the massive paw as the shockwave from the blow caused her to fly back 50 feet.
Shizuri used her ability to instantly slow her momentum destroying the surrounding cobblestone path in the process as her photon beams tore apart the area.
Shizuri then began to chuckle a little.
"Laughing in the face of your demise?" said Gore. "How boring..."
"I'm not laughing at my demise..." said Shizuri. "I'm laughing at yours!!!"
Shizuri suddenly let out a multitude of meltdowner beams that blasted themselves into one of Gore's paws. This time however, the beams carved through his paw easily, and the great bear staggered back, roaring in pain as his paw was sliced to bits as if a multitude of miniature lightsabers had just carved into him.
"WHAT!?" said Gore. "How!?"
"You say Laxus beat you once..." said Shizuri. "But how could his electric attacks overcome your skin if your body is as tough as you say? Then it hit me..the nature of your body is vulnerable to energy of a certain nature, all I needed to do is find out your vulnerability point..."
Shizuri pointed at Gore, a slow smile crossing her face. "It was your nerves, by directly hitting the nerve points on your skin, I can easily bypass the invulnerable parts of your body."
"But you can't aim that accurately.." said Gore. "I heard of you Meltdowner...your aim is not that precise."
"True.." said Shizuri as a bit of blood started dripping down her mouth. "I needed a little help to make sure I wouldn't miss." A bloody spot also appeared on Mugino's shirt...growing larger and larger.
"You used brain enhancement magic.." said Gore. "You would risk killing yourself just to bring me down for a bit of information.."
"Well considering not doing this will mean the world's end...I can't think of a reason why I wouldn't." Shizuri yelled as her body began to bleed out more, and several more Meltdowner beams shot out and sliced Gore's arms off, and the tremendous bear fell to the street with a crash, roaring with utter pain.
Mugino walked next to the giant bear's head, coughing up some blood as she went. She had to make this quick, she could already feel her body starting to lose consciessness.
"You...Jellal said that you sent your animal servants out into both our worlds to search for the three gates that were supposed to open after the Gate of Entry is passed through...where are they?"
"I won't tell you...I'm dead anyways.." said Gore.
"That you are." said Shizuri. "But as long as you're thinking it...I'm fine."
Shizuri kneeled down next to Gore's head and brought out a piece of paper with a magic circle on it.
Shizuri remembered what Jellal had told him about this spell.
"I have mental communication spell attatched to it." Jellal had said. "It is activated by specific thoughts. Once you ask Gore what we need to know, touch it to his head, as long as the answer is in his head...it will be enough."
Shizuri touched the paper to Gore's head and it glowed and dissapeared, off to relay information to it's caster.
"You dare...extract my thoughts!!?" Gore rumbled furiously. "Your head will be mine!!!"
In a massive blast of power, the bear glowed with a tremendous light. When the light cleared, Gore was back in his large humanoid form, his arms back where they belonged. He roared and ran at Shizuri, his feet emitted black shockwaves with every step.
"DEATH HAMMER OF THE EARTH GOD!"
Gore raised his fist to the air and a ginormous hammer made of earth erupted out of the ground behind him and lashed down at Shizuri.
Shizuri disintegrated the hammer immediately with a barrage of Meltdowner beams and rolled out of the way as Gore brought both of his fists down to the ground near her. A black shockwave blasted out from the earth where Gore's fists were and Shizuri flew into the air.
Gore snatched Shizuri right of the air and began to clench his fists tighter, determined to crush her to dust. "Any last words...insolent esper?"
"Yeah.." coughed Shizuri as blood poured down from her mouth. "You seem to have lost your head.."
Immediately several Meltdowner beams crisscrossed over Gore's neck and beheaded him. As the body fell over and Mugino rolled out of the monster man's lifeless hand she coughed up a bit more blood. The magic Mugino had used to better her aim to the extreme was taking it's toll.
"Who thought it would end like this..?" grumbled Shizuri. "Jellal...you are such a troubling man..."
"What you say is true...though I must appologize for it." Out of the dust, Jellal appeared and knealt down next to Meltdowner. "Don't worry. I won't let you die...I'm sorry for making it so late.."
Shizuri sighed. "I'll say it again...you really are a troubling man.."

Ghost Dragon Slayers: Strangely enough, the ability to use Ghost Dragon Slayer magic is soley exclusive to that of Dragon Borns. Traditional 1st generation Dragon Slayers actually lack the physical capability to devour spirit energy as is usually required by that of Ghost Dragon Slayers.
Ghost Dragon Slayers have the unique ability to see and devour ghosts. Interestingly enough, they don't normally devour human souls, as human souls don't tend to stay in the material world long unless they become the strange demons known as Hollows. Ghost Dragon Slayers also hold command over spirits, being able to send them to do their bidding, such as spying on enemies.
Nicole Mavros so far has displayed some limited ability to control spirits to her whim. While she is a prodigy where Dragon Slayer magic is concerned, it is still believed that her powers have great hidden potential far beyond what she has unlocked so far.
Mikoto's Dragon Slayer ability in correlation with her Awakening:
As it has been understood, some espers, such as Dark Matter and Accelerator were able to achieve what is known as an Awakening. In an Awakened state, the esper gain powers and abilities that are similar to angels and make them as powerful as saint class magicians if not more so. Accelerator's black wing form is an example of this.
The fact that Mikoto is an esper, might have been the reason why her Dragon Born ability turned into wings in particular. It is theorized that when she awakened her Dragon Slayer powers, she also achieved a sort of combined Awakening...awakening both her Dragon side and full power of her esper self, unwittingly gaining angelic traits as well. This could be the reason for why her Dragon Force ability is Thundering Arch Angel.
(Take note that much of this information is speculation by Gravix, so not all of it could be accurate, and the information on Mikoto's Thunder Dragon Wings has not been proven and so far remains a theory.)
