"Here yey! Here yey!"
"The Prince of Livue has announced a ball, all single ladies are invited to come. The Ball starts 8 at the evening, be sure to wear your best attire noble or villager every woman is must invited." a Royal Chancellor announced with every ladies or girl reacting happily to hear about it.
It was currently the talk of the town. Every woman in the Kingdom was happily to talking about it.
"Prince of Livue?"
Alana heard right remembering the Prince of Livue, a Kingdom behind the quadruple mountains of the South Livue Empire.
"You know him? I heard the Prince of Livue is searching for a bride after the King recently passed away of old age." Dastan whispered while carrying loads of food groceries.
"Yeah I've met him, he's kinda reminding me of Lushier,"
"Why? is he blind too!" Dastan joke laughing with Alana ended up staring at him.
"Nope?" Dastan asked. "No I mean he's a skilled Knight too but with royal blood." Alana explained while the two were walking.
"Oh? Is that right I really thought he was just a cold dick head like Lushier."
"Dastan!"
"I apologize hehe, so Alana why did you asked? For all I know you're married—"
"No you've misunderstand it! I'm just curious okay."
"Oh really? Hmm why don't you go to the ball." Dastan suddenly suggested.
"What? Haven't you said its a ball for single ladies, also the Prince is searching for a bride." Alana reminded.
"Yeah but you can still go, it's not like the Prince will choose you anyways well if I'm not mistaken I heard from a friend of mine that Lushier will be at the ball acting as a Royal Captain Guard for the Prince of Livue. Are you sure you don't want to..." As Dastan was blabbering about the ball, Alana imagined what would Lushier look wearing a Royal Captain Suit, with badges and medals in clip in his suit chest. His messy hair brushed up in a swept back hairstyle.
Alana was drooling drowning herself to her husband's visuals.
"Earth to Alana? Yo? You okay?" Dastan snaps her thoughts.
"Ahh yes, I am."
Dastan shake his head smirking. "You're thinking of him don't you."
"Not really but I'm just worried you know."
Alana's Point of View
I know I still don't know much about him but I just can't think straight knowing that someone like him will be acting as a captain guard. He's blind and I am underestimating him so much.
"Don't worry Princess Lushier is a tough man no one cam take him down, worrying is just a waste of time so? Are you coming to the ball or not?" Dastan said talking positive hoping, well I'm not really sure but alright since Lushier is there I guess I can't help but to miss him even though he did make it back home last night.
I admit I'm kinda getting somehow attached to him, Is this normal?
"Fine. I'll go."
Kingdom of Livue, 8 PM present
The Entire Kingdom was celebrating with fireworks and hundreds of ladies everywhere dressed to impress, there were royal guards dress coded in a icy and navy dark blue attire, everything in here seems to be grand.
Of course Livue is a Wealthy Kingdom, since the King made it prosper and heavily guarded.
"Dastan aren't you coming with me?"
He removed his cape, I glared at him plain sight. He happens to be wearing the same outfit as the royal guards of Livue.
"Hehe I can't Alana unfortunately I'm assigned as a Royal Guard too." he scratches the back of his head while admitting it to me. I sigh at the very moment.
"You never told me you were a guard!?" I questioned him.
"Sorry bye!" He scrams leaving me alone.
Alright let's do this, it's only a ball anyways I'm sure the Prince won't find me and I'll be pouring my attention to my Captain Guard, I wonder where he is now?
I followed the ladies entering the Castle, walking gracefully as I've always been. As Lady Solen taught me, a Princess must act with grace and poise, followed by a proper etiquette and charming character. Be Polite and act properly as a Princess must do.
As we made it inside, oh no.
"Lady Flora Velevet of Hudborn!"
"Princess Georgia Green of Dorne Kingdom!"
A Herald was announcing names of the upon arrivals of Ladies, What should I do? Should I lie? Maybe I'll just lie and use a false name I hope he doesn't know who I am.
After another lady it was my turn.
"I'm—"
"Princess Alana!?"
Oh no, he knows who I am. Why am I not surprised everyone in here seems to know me anyways.
"Hello there Sir." I awkwardly said, I was about to say a false name when the Herald immediately noticed who I really was. I guess I have no choice. They all must think I'm still a Princess but not anymore, I've been stripped out of my Royal Status and got exiled from Wrisburg.
"Princess Alana White of Wrisburg Kingdom!" the Announcer yelled with some of looks immediately targeted at me. My eyes widen as I saw huge crowd in the giant ball room filled with ladies and few men staring at me with differed stares. As I descended the Stairs some ladies were gossiping about me.
They all seems to be wearing fancy clothes. But what I've never expected was the Princesses that knows me here.
"Well well well it isn't little miss fairest of all."
"I can't believe you're here knowing that you're pretending to be a Princess."
"Shame on you Princess Alana or should I say Alana."
Three Princess made fun of me, this Princesses had known me because they're from the neighboring Kingdoms of Wrisburg. The First Princess who stumbles upon me.
Princess Porscha Dubois of Amberley, Princess Lois Danafor of Verdon and lastly Princess Merlin Koreton of Etruria. The Three Known Princesses of the Neighboring Kingdoms of Wrisburg. When I was just a small child these three used to bully me all the time but thanks to my sisters they protected me back then mostly Regina my elder sister.
But now everything changed.
"Look at you, have you no shame at all? Aren't you embarrassed enough that you run away with a lowly pathetic poor man then surprisingly see you here makes yourself more look humiliating," Porscha said stating hurtful words as she thinks that false story made me run away like that. They don't know the truth at all. But still I feel hurt by their sharp tongues.
"Of course she isn't Queen Regina was right about her, she's just a stupid pretty girl." Lois laughed.
"I'm not." I defended myself from their criticisms. I was holding myself back trying not to burst in tears just for this party's sake. I can't attracts attention now I can't risk exposing myself any longer.
As I attempted to leave Princess Merlin grabbed my wrist stopping me from going.
"Where do you think you are going?" she halted me.
I grabbed my wrist back and step back only to bump into someone solid hard.
"Take this woman away." Princess Merlin said to the Guard behind me. The Guard bows slightly then escorts me outside behind the castle in the wide garden. As I turn to the Guard my sadness and worries wavered away to see Lusher revealing himself after removing his hat.
I ran straight to his arms hugging him.
"Are you alright." He asked as be felt surprised by my sudden actions.
I started crying as I began to hear his comforting voice, he took me to a bench nearby and we sat together watching the night sky filled with thousand stars. They all deliberately looked beautiful.
"Alana, speak to me."
"Yes I'm fine. You don't need to worry." I respond.
"It seems those Royal Ladies likes to pounce on you—"
"Not its not like that! Ignore them I'm just happy to see you here." I said lifting the mood between us. I hope he doesn't ask anymore question after that.
I smiled at him even though he can't see I can still feel Lushier doubting at me. I can't blame him but I just want to be at peace and be with him right now.
