Kara held on Lena's hand as they took her into the DEO's emergency operating space. As they were inside, one of the doctor's asked Kara to leave the room but she doesn't want to let go of Lena's hand. When Alex arrived, she asked Kara to leave and let the doctors operate to take the bullet out of Lena's body, but Kara stubbornly still held onto Lena's hand.
Pam saw how Kara stayed on to make sure Lena would be okay.
She's losing a lot of blood. We have to stop the bleeding now. One of the doctors said to Alex who looked into Kara still holding Lena's hand, crying relentlessly.
Have you gotten all the bullet out yet? Alex asked
Not yet, one of the bullets went way too deep into her lungs and she's going to drown from blood if we don't stop her bleeding.
Alex tried to pull Kara out of the room again but she made it hard for Alex to do so.
