Chapter 79
EXTRA Chapter
Queencie's POV
There has always been a part of me that I considered as an empty space. I kept coming back to those times in my childhood, but I would always end up hitting a dead end. As if it did not exist. But entering that laboratory had triggered something in me.
It felt like a dam cracking as memories started flooding in. I knew my grandfather had taken me to this laboratory. It felt so familiar, I knew I had walked in the hallways and played in its rooms. Then I heard him. His voice was not of a stranger as he called my name.
'My queen, find me.' It was like someone I long had forgotten had suddenly appeared. My heart pounded as I looked around the array of glass tanks. In my memories, these tanks were the ones where the spliced clones grew before they transferred consciousness. One of these tanks housed the boy who I remembered in those memories. The boy with thick blond hair who would talk with me in my mind.
