A moment of silence as we struggle on the grasp of the demon lord's claws. She stares at both of us, the surroundings were quiet, we could only hear the sand move, our breathing and beating hearts.

Unexpectedly, the demon lord went and laughed so loudly that we were surprised she was even capable of showing that kind of emotion. Does she think we're joking?! We really came here from all over two kingdoms to find and kill her.
"Ah… apologies, you made me laugh."
Kazari looks so pissed as she hears the demon lord laughing at her so mockingly. "What's so funny about it?! We need your heart to make medicine for someone I really care about!"
