3rd Month, 14th Day Of The Year 160
In the world of Oryin on the Continent Dermenox there's a city called Autumn Port City. It's located by the ocean in the country of Valis while mountains are not far in the distance west. Below the Crimson Mountain is the Red Mist Valley which got its name from how at night the mountain releases crimson mist that flows through the valley but stops at the edge because of the barrier that only appears at night.
It's a mystery as to why any of that happens. In front of the valley is a forest. It's called the Forest of Night which only has nocturnal monsters and mana beasts since it receives little to no light there. There are up to tier 2 mana beasts and monsters that live there. In the valley there's rumor to be a tier 4 that's comparable to mana immortal realm cultivators, but no one has seen it yet. Luckily nothing major has happened even if it is there since it has no interest in anything in this realm plus it can feel multiple presences that give off auras that makes it look like nothing.
So it doesn't dare to even think about it and the ones in the forest already couldn't get in before at night since that's the only time they travel because of the city's strong barrier. Now with those existences, they are way too afraid to even attempt to leave more than a couple miles away from the forest. And the ones that made them like this are doing their own things since being here for two years now. Some have stayed in this city while others venture out into other cities, and continents doing what interests them but they still come back once a month through portals that they're able to make that's connected to the mansion.
Inside that mansion within a room on the 3rd floor is a being who is more interested in the virtual pod gaming system right now. As he just finished his session, the room door was open and in came his first and second disciples. One was a slightly tall human teen about 1.77m who had short brown hair and eyes. Having brown skin tone and a pretty good looking face. He's wearing an all blue uniform with white undershirt and a gold star indicating he's a first year. The one beside him is a little girl with a cute innocent face with long pigtails. She has cat-like ears, eyes and a tail with small patches of fur on her hands and feet. They are silver in color and her skin is white as snow. Which tells you she's a cat beastkin. Wearing blue overalls with yellow flowers in the front over a white shirt and sandals as it's spring time.
"Master we're back" said the teen
"I'm home big brother Dell" said the little girl
"Oh welcome back Drew, welcome home Lily" said Odell
"Master, I've reached level one of the True Mana God Indestructible Body" said Andrew
"Good then it's time I give you these skill books but still take the potions and medicine baths I instructed you to do. Oh and you'll be taking undiluted baths and potions now" said Odell while giving him three skill books
"Y-yes master" gulped Andrew as he knew how painful the baths were already and now it's going to be even painful
Taking the books, Andrew looked at them then read what kind of skills they were. The first was an attack skill called Darkness Flame Slash. The second was a movement skill called The 48 Vanishing Steps. The last was a defense skill called Dark Cloak Barrier which all three were created by Odell specially for Andrew to maximize his growth and talent. They are Ancient Rank skills and the body method he uses is also the same rank. And for now he has a green rank talent but with the help of potions and medicine baths made by Odell, he will reach the grey rank after a few more months.
"M-masteer, this, this" stuttered Andrew in shock
"Huh what's the matter" asked Odell
"Are these really Ancient Rank skills master" asked Andrew cautiously
"Hmm of course" said Odell with a what else could it be expression
"B-but master these are Ancient Ranks, Ancient you know, skills that are even hard for all the top clans,sects and guilds to obtain." said Andrew with astonishment and unbelief
"Is that so well to me they're nothing but trash" said Odell with a calm expression
"T-Trash but…" before Andrew could finish Odell said
"It doesn't matter because what I give you will be better trash then those trash" Odell said with the same calm expression
"So don't worry about it and just go practice" said Odell
"O-oka…Yes master, I'll head to the courtyard to practice.. Thank you master" said Andrew as he bowed towards Odell
"There's no need for all that but I'll come see how much you comprehend later" said Odell with carefree smile
"Yes master" Andrew said as he turned and left the room and now there's only Lily and Odell here.
They first stared at each other for a few minutes then started laughing because they couldn't keep their eyes from blinking. It was their little game whenever they saw each other after she got home from school. She goes to Autumn Elementary School while Andrew goes to Fall Academy where they train to use the mana in their bodies for mana cultivation, potion making, blacksmithing,etc. Lily lives there with her mom in their own rooms as her mom works as a helper even though she doesn't have to but she insisted on it after the Black Family let them stay here for free. They also treat Lily like the princess of the family ever since they came about 8 months ago. They treat Andrew like a little brother since they found out their brother finally decided to train disciples now.
They knew that Andrew is from a rich but humble family called the Lake Family. The Lake Family is a family that owns Lake Real Estates, Lake Construction Inc. and a few Seafood Restaurants in other cities in the Country of Valis, the biggest country in Dermenox. And him being the fourth and youngest son, he wanted to go down his own path even though he would get to have shares when he graduates. They also have their own clan cultivation skills that made them a 3 Star Clan, while his father is the head of the family. On the clan side they own some weapons and potion shops as well as own a couple auction houses in a few cities too.
His parents don't know yet that he has a master and that he lives not too far from them, but they know that he has been practicing after school everyday and resting on the weekends. And right now Andrew is in the courtyard of the Black Family comprehending his skill books while Odell is still talking with Lily in his room.
"Big brother Dell, what will I be doing today" asked Lily with expectations
"For now you'll be taking a medicine bath and a body strengthening potion, okay my cute Lily" said Odell with a smile on his face
"Oh but I'm not dirty big brother" Lily said in an innocent look
" It's to help make Lily's skin soft and smooth and the potion is to help strengthen your body little by little until you're old enough to start cultivating okay" said Odell
"Okay big brother Dell" said an understanding but still excited Lily thinking how she'll become stronger
[So cute] thought Odell as he proceeded to hug Lily and then they made their way downstairs to the living room to find her mother Cecilia who had just finished making dinner.
"Mom, mom, big brother Dell said I can get stronger soon" as she said while smiling
"Oh is that right sweetie, mommy knows you be really strong thanks to Mr.Odell" said Cecilia as she smiles
"Ms.Cecilia you don't have to address me with mr just call me Dell like I've always asked" said Odell with a helpless expression
"Mr.Odell is our life savior so even calling you by your first name is already too much" said Cecilia in a calm expression
" It's fine I don't care about things like that so Ms Cecilia will you call me Dell instead for now on" asked Odell with a pleasing gaze
"I don't" she was interrupted by Odell saying
"I'll call you just Cecilia from now on, plus we're already family so no more formal talking okay"
She looked at Lily and Lily looked by with a smile as if saying mom it's fine, big brother Dell is big brother Dell. She couldn't help but smile at her as she saw her cute expression so she sigh and said
"From now on I'll call you D-Dell" with a slight blush
"Thank you Cecilia" He said with an amused smile
They stared at each other for a few seconds until Lily snapped them out of it and one had a calm expression while the other blushed more.
"Mom I'm hungry"
"Ah, yes...Ahem...I've made dinner why don't you two go get Andrew since he's still practicing and I'll set the table okay" she said while averting her eyes from them as she left towards the kitchen to set the table in the dining room
"Cute" said Odell while smiling
"What big brother Dell" asked Lily
"It's nothing, let's go get little Drew okay" said Odell
"Okay" responded Lily
So the duo headed towards the courtyard in the back to see how Andrew was doing and to bring him for dinner. As they got there they could hear panting noises and saw Andrew lying on the ground cover in sweat looking exhausted from trying to practice his new skills but only got a small grasp of them.
"It seems like you're stuck at comprehending the first levels" said Odell
"Ah master… Yes, I'm having trouble with letting my mana flow through my sword in order to have enough of it to condense around it without losing the mana barrier around my body" said Andrew
"Well for now I just wanted to see if you could comprehend the skills first before actually using them since you need to learn how to redirect your leaking mana in to your sword like how everyone does when they go through the Mana Condensation Realm" answered Odell
"Is it something like this" asked Andrew as he got up from the ground, then went to pick up his sword and started to condense his mana around his body in a solid state then slowly flow the leaking mana onto the sword and as he was doing that Odell and Lily was observing him as one was excited and the other had a calm expression with a understanding look in his eyes as he sees why.
"You can stop now" said Odell
"How is it master?" asked Andrew
"You're using too much mana to condense around the sword when all you need is a small amount and that is causing your left side to thin. Try to imagine how solid and strong your mana barrier is and then make it so as the first step. Then the next step is to use the leaking mana to flow around the sword while keeping your mana barrier the same without losing mana for it. It will be a little harder to do until you condense your inner orb at the Orb Formation Realm which would help store and release your mana easier and faster. As of now you're in the peak layer of the Mana Condensation Realm but with you being in the first level of the True Mana God Indestructible Body, you don't have to worry about where to store your leaking mana since your body won't let it leak unless you let it like you been doing so far" explaining Odell
"Hmm master why didn't you tell me about all of this before now" asked Andrew
"Because you didn't ask" said Odell with a slight smile
"Plus I thought it'll be interesting to see"
[This master of mines is really...nevermind] thought Andrew
"Then I'll try again as you instructed" said Andrew
" No you can take a break since it's dinner time and Cecilia asked us to come get you so get washed up and change then head to the dining room okay" said Odell
"Oh okay master" said Andrew
"Senior brother Drew that was cool I want to do that too" said Lily excitedly as she was here the whole time just observing quietly until now.
"Well maybe one day but master will teach you how when it's time okay Lily" said Andrew with a smile
"Hmm okay big brother Dell can we"
"For now we should head back inside before the food gets cold okay little Lily and I'll teach you one day plus later you will be taking those baths and potions like I said earlier remember to get stronger" said Odell with a smile
"Okay big brother"
"That's a good girl now let's go so Drew can hurry up" said Odell as he took Lily's hand and headed back inside to get what is now as the most delicious food ever as the family puts it. They can't get enough of Cecilia's cooking so everyone comes back to eat no matter where they are.
"It looks like they won't get to have Cecilia's cooking today" muttered Odell
As Lily and Odell got to the dining room they smelled all the delicious foods all over the table and that couldn't help themselves from gulping with excitement. The went to their seats and before they could start eating Cecilia came and said
"Ahem, you two don't just start yet wait for everyone to get here"
"But mom it smells so delicious please" asked Lily in a begging voice
"No not until everyone gets here and where is Andrew I thought I ask both of you to go get him" Asked Cecilia
"He will be joining in a few he's in the shower, he should be finishing up now" said Odell
"And the rest seems to be a little too busy right now so they won't be making it you should get a call from them riiight now" as he said that her mana phone rang and the first one to call was Aiden since he loves to eat, especially Cecilia's cooking.
"I'll talk to him and see if you're right but for now no eating yet okay" said Cecilia with a serious expression
"Yes ma'am" said both Lily and Odell while smiling towards her
She rolled her eyes and walked away to talk while those two started laughing at what they always do but now Cecilia is less restrained then usual which is what everyone wanted to see
"So shall we play a little game while we wait for the news and little Drew" asked Odell
"What kind of game" asked Lily but before he told her he felt Andrew coming
"Well for right now it seems Drew has finished and it appears Cecilia is also, so we can hold off on the game okay" said Odell
"Okay"
"Oh Drew you finished just in time" said Cecilia
"Yes ma'am sorry if I'm late" Andrew said in a apologetic tone
"No fine we were just waiting for Cecilia as she was talking to my siblings"said Odell with a grin
"So what did they say?"
"They said that we can start without them since they had somethings to finish up" said Cecilia while rolling her eyes at Odell's playful grin
"See it's no problem now let's dig in it's always my pleasure to get your cooking Cecilia" said Odell with a smile
"Yes me too mom I love your cooking the best" said Lily
"As do I Ms Cecilia, I have to say it's better than our cooks at home" said Andrew
"Hmph you two are just trying to sweet talk me and thank you Andrew" said Cecilia but she was happy inside from their compliments
"Now let's dig in, I'm starving" said Odell as he started placing food on Lily's and Cecilia plate then his own while he let Andrew get his own which was a normal occurrence
As it was 9:30 b.n and they finished everything on the table it was time for Andrew to head home so his parents don't start calling for him to be home even though tomorrow is the weekend.
"Alright Andrew I'll make a portal close to your home where no one can see for you okay and we'll start practicing your mana control more at noon okay" said Odell look greatly satisfied
"Yes master I should be getting back or I'll be lectured by mom again like last time" as he said with a scared expression
"Are moms that scary" asked Odell with interest
"Yes master very, I mean mine is when I don't follow her rules" said Andrew
"Hmm I see" as he looked at Cecilia while she took Lily to bathe then get ready for bed with a smile
"Well master we have to hurry or I'll never hear the end of it tonight" said Andrew with a look of despair from thinking of the lecture he will receive if he doesn't make it in time
"Okay I'll make a portal… here see you tomorrow" said Odell as he made a portal close to Andrews home down the street since he was cutting it close on time
"Thanks master see you" replied Andrew
"That kid" said Odell while shaking his head
"Is everything ready" ???
"Yes my lord" said a dark clothed figure to the unknown dark clothed man
"Then let's start phase one" said the dark cloth man while standing next to the window looking over a city
"Yes my lord" said the dark clothed figure
"Soon all will be mines" laughed the unknown dark clothed man
"Hmm seems like something interesting is about to start, let's see how entertaining it'll be" said Odell with a grin while heading back to his room after talking to his siblings on his mana phone as he knew all these movements in the dark that was happening in all realms in the Cosmos
