"Do you also drug?" some girl asked me. "What!! no, I don't. Why do you ask?" I answered her. "Well Aaron's two ex-girl friends drugged and most people thought that is what he liked from them." She answered me. "I don't think he likes me. He's just being friendly." I told her. "By the way Is it Aaron who showed you my class? " Aura asked. "Yeah, but the main reason I got here was to ask you to help me in my class work." I told her changing the topic. "Why?" she asked me. "Coz. I can't keep up in that class. There are bullies. I just have to leave it." I told her as I was thinking of Brandon and his mean behavior. "Did some one bully you?" She asked me like as if she was not shocked to hear that. "Yeah" I told her. "Lemme guess. It's Brandon." she guessed right. "How do you know?" I asked her. "He bullies every new kid, he also bullied me once when I'd just joined the school." She said. "What did you do about him?" I asked her. "Ignored him." she said. "What!?" I asked like as if I hadn't heard. "I ignored him." She said again. "Are you for reals! How can you ignore an attention seeker?" I asked her. "Exactly. If he wants attention, don't give him and trust me he wont bother you, I rarely speak to him, actually I don't speak to him." She ended while laughing. "So, what you're trying to say that I should ignore him ." She nodded her head. "Okay, I shall but you still have to help me out with work. Please." I said and she said, "Okay meet me after classes. I think you should go to class now. Do you know how to reach your class?" she said and asked. "Yeah, I know." I said while getting out and waving to her. As I was moving to my class, I saw Aaron leaning on the opposite wall. "Hey, you're done talking to her fast. Can I walk you to class?" He said while waling towards me. "Yeah sure. How long have you been there?" I asked him. "From the time you entered the class." He said and I just nodded my head like as if to be understanding. "You know, am still wondering how you were studying in a girls' school. Wasn't it boring?" He asked. "No, it wasn't. I actually find it weird to be in a mixed school." I answered him. "I actually thought all boys were mean but your nice and your talking to me." I told him. "Don't you have any brothers?" He asked me. "Yeah, I got one brother." I answered. "Is he mean?" He asked again. "No, he's not. Actually, he's the best brother the world could give." I answered him. "Then why do you think all boys are mean." He asked me. "I don' know." I shrugged as I was answering. "I just thought that way. Maybe, it's because I never really had time to talk to boy." I answered him. "But you talk to your brother, don't you?" He asked. "He's not always at home." I told him. "He only comes home for a short while since studies in the UK." I added. "He comes for holidays." He said like as if it were some thing obvious to know. "Only for Christmas, he spends the other holidays with our aunt in the UK." I told him. "So, literally you're the only child at home." He said. I smiled and said, "Yeah". I answered and saw our class. I stood in one place like as if I were glued there. "Why aren't you coming?" He asked me. "I just don't feel like entering class with you, I think it will bring a lot of attention." I told him. "What's the problem? You don't like attention or you don't want to come in with me?" He asked me. "I don't like attention. "But we've been moving together the whole time." He said. I sighed and said, "Please, get in first. He didn't say anything but just moved to class and sat. When he sat, I entered next. "Wow, you're new in school but you come late." Brandon said. I ignored him and looked at Aaron who shook his head. Like seriously I don't know what's wrong with Brandon. "Aww, you're looking at your body guard for help. Hey Aaron wont you help her out." Brandon said. Aaron just looked at him and looked at his book making the class start telling Brandon on how he flopped on this one. I smiled too and sat. "Hey, I saw you in A. What were you doing there?" Sara asked. "I have a friend there." I answered. "A friend in A! Are you crazy? Those guys are way much more wiser than us. You can't have a friend there." She said like as if they were anti social or I should be anti social. "Well, I have a friend there and she's pretty nice. You should try talking to them. The are not so bad. Actually, they are all nice people." I told her. "Even when am blind folded I can't talk to a person from A and is in front of me." She told me and I realized she's the one with the problem. "never mind am just sayin' they are nice." I said and started getting my book for the next class. "Hey, I wanted to ask, do you know Aaron in any way?" She said and I started wondering why she never minds her own business. "Why do you ask?" I asked her. "The way he stood up for you isn't the way he would for any body else. You must be knowing him." She said while looking ay me so keenly. "No, I have just known him." I answered her and the teacher came into class. "Good morning class, today I might not be able to teach you because I have to teach some other class. So, I have papers for you to discuss in your groups. Maybe the next time I'll teach your class." The teacher said when he came into class. I raised my arm and said, "Excuse me sir, am not in any group." "Why not?" He asked me. "I've just joined the school." I answered him. "Alright, who's your best friend in this class?" He asked me. I would have said Aaron but I said, "Sara." "Alright then who's the group leader of Sara's group. "I am." The guy who was arguing with Brandon about how he looks said. "Luke, the new kid is in your group." The teacher said but the new 'kid phrase' made me a little bit mad. Was it hard to ask for my name? "Okay, sir." He said. "Now that's settled. Group leaders come and get the papers." The teacher said and the group leaders including Luke went. When the teacher was out of class, Luke said something that I wasn't expecting. "My group is so messed up. First the two enemies of the class are in it. Like as if that wasn't enough, God had to add the reason they were fighting earlier into the class." He said it so loud that I felt unwelcome into the group. All other groups had started discussing and we still hadn't yet started. "Are you guys waiting for me to call you?" Luke asked and some two girls went first, then Sara, then Brandon, then Aaron, and I went last. "So, I know you guys hate discussions. Should we really discuss this?" Luke asked. "Nah, am tired." Brandon said and everybody else apart from Aaron agreed. "Are you for reals?" I said. "We haven't even studied anything and you're saying you are tired!!" I added. "New kid being so into studies. Why aren't you in A?" Brandon said. "Don't you get tired of being known as the worst in the entire school? And by the way my name isn't new kid, it's Rita." I told him. "Okay Rita, why are you trying to be such a boss. Is it because Aaron is around?" He said and Aaron looked at him. "This isn't about Aaron, it's just that you want to be who you're not. You want to be a king and yet you are a servant." I told him and everyone was so shocked. I think Brandon was coming to beat me up, when Aaron said, "I told you not to touch her." He said in a really calm tone though a threatening one. "I thought you were being silent." Brandon told him and Aaron still didn't say anything. "Oh, I get it you're only speaking when the new kid is hurt." Brandon said. "Again, am not new kid, am Rita." I told him. "I've had enough. Can't you three stay without fighting? You keep on fighting over no big reasons." Luke said and we all went silent. Luke gave a paper to one of the two girls and Sara. "You guys discuss with Brandon while Hannah, Aaron and Rita discuss this other one." he said while handing us the other one. I saw the paper and it was math. "Who's going to write the questions we couldn't answer?" Hannah asked. "I shall write them." Aaron answered. We started discussing and every thing was moving on well not until, "The answer is 6." Hannah said. "No, I got 9." Aaron said. "And I got 3." I said. "God! Is division the problem with you guys or what? The answer is 6. 36/6 is 6." Hannah said. "I don' get it." I said. "Imagine you had thirty six apples and you wanna give them to six children equally. How many would you give to each child?" Hannah said. "Can't I just use a calculator?" I asked. "No, the question is without using a calculator." Hannah answered.
