THOUGHTLESS LIKE A HUMAN

This has been more disappointing than I thought it would be. After waking from leveling up, I tried searching for the tree which I was going to use as a landmark to travel further, but as soon as I pin-point it out I find another green tree similar to it, resembling it perfectly in height and shape. Shouldn't the forest have been filled with diversity of flora and fauna, so how there can be an identical tree just like it everywhere I look.
It was all the fault of that ungrateful bird that left me alone, but I won't blame it since it intently listened to my conversation and I am looking forward to another one of those. But I also cannot blame myself for bringing an outdated world map only to forget that I cannot zoom in or out of the map like I would do in the previous world and having zero experience with trekking is making this travel unbearable.
