ALANNA
"Nothing can save you now" he hisses and snaps his fingers. Pain tears through me, my knees buckling as a result of it's intensity. At the same time, panic invades my heart as I clutch my stomach, afraid for my baby's life.
"No! Please! Don't hurt her!" Azalea cries as she kneels down beside me. He laughs hoarsely and smirks at us.
Suddenly the pain vanishes, warmth growing in my stomach. Confused, I look down at my pants, worried that I've just had a miscarriage but I don't see any sign of blood. Relieved, I clutch my stomach and let out a sigh of relief.
"You can't save her now, she's a lost cause" the guardian states and Azalea narrows her eyes. "You're going down, you bastard" she hisses and I grip her arm.
"Alanna-" she breathes.
"I'm okay, I don't know how. But, I'm really okay. Can you check if my baby's okay?" I whisper and her eyes widen.
