Seeing the monster not breathing anymore, he finally let go of the iron dagger while heavily breathing.
He stumbled back on his butt as he catch his breath. After few second he looked towards the monster he just killed. Horn rabbit, it was as big as a small dog. It has small black horn on its head thus giving it that name.
He didn't went to remove it's core as he knew an unranked monster doesn't have one. Like the human level system that divide the power level in to several stages, such as.....

Thier is also an hierarchy system in monster.

While the unranked are the lowest monster in the ladder who didn't even reached rank of a normal tier. Other then the meat of the monster, their was no other use of such monsters.
All in all these were the monsters left by the federation for training the new generation, to gain experience with real killing.
Ryan stood infront of the body and relieve the moment of his first kill. He excepted the responsibility of the life he took and prayed for its death.
" I know i am being hypocrite but I hope for your afterlife" He said.
These are the moral values his parents taught him when he was a child. According to his mother every living being should recive respect after death, no matter the circumstance involving the living being.
After giving its respect, he bent on his one knee and took out the iron knife from the dead horn rabbit.
" I can't use this knife now... ~sigh~.." Even though his blood was great but the weapon is too weak to handle.
" And above all I cant just keep on losing so much blood in every battle.." It might be quite fatal for him, if he continue using the same tactics.
Now that he look at his power now, Ryan discovered that his power was more focused on single combat oriented. What he lack now was pure strength and the stamina to maintain strength. If he somehow increase his explosive power and stamina then one day he might become the most prefect warrior in the world.
" But for now its far away dream " Dreaming big and all was great but Ryan knew it was just an fantasy.
According to human studies on abilities one can only use mana techniques to increase its mana capacity and evolve its ability to further levels, but ones abilities can't change its property.
For example, if one has an ability to increase speed then after evolution it will not change into an ability to strength type ability.
Similarly, his ability will enhance with further evolution but it will not change into one explosive type ability.

After the fusion started, thier was no change happened to his body. Ryan estimated that he might see or feel changes in his body after reaching ten percent of fusion with the ????? being.
" Hope the change would help me reach higher levels " He said in tired tone.
Even though the fight was short lived it took a tole on him as he lost much blood in the first fight. And above all it was his first fight so it took a tole on his mind to except the killing intent in the fight.
Continuously being under such Life threatening condition his mind was really getting tired by it all this.
" Let's rest a little..., then i'll look for another monster " Ryan said in a tired way as he turned around to pickup his bag from the bushes.
Ryan moved a little forward and sat in the shade of trees. And started eating the lunch box he brought with him.
His fatigue that was created by the whole adventure started decreasing by the amazing food he got from Mrs.Grace.
" My main ability can only be use two time and plus i can't use Acid Blood all the time.... so instead of wasting my time on an unranked monster... I should kill one or two normal rank monster and go back... " Now that he is lot calmer then before and had some food inside his stomach, his academic brain started running at full speed, thinking all kinds of plan for himself.
Ryan took out his phone and opened the map system, a blue hologram of the map was displayed infront of him.
The map was showing his location with dark blue light, as well the area around him. The safe zone was coloured in green while dangerous zone were covered in red and currently it was showing that he was about 300 metres away from the dangerous zone.
As per the guards advise he wanted to hunt in the safe zone up till now but looking at his abilities short comings, it was better for to take a little risk and hunt normal rank monster then the unranked beast, who don't even drop a single mana core.
Which was essential for him to increase his mana capacity.
Making up his mind, Ryan stood up and placed his bag on his back.
" Danger area here I come " He started walking towards the area with ferm foot step.
Unknown of the danger he was about face.

" Are you sure their was a wind wolf, in this area" Nicholas asked his friends in the back as he swing his knives on the tree bark.
" It should be around here somewhere "
Nicholas and his team of five mercenary were searching in the danger area of the nothern gateway. They were here to hunt a wind wolf, it is a monster with the ability of wind attribute. It's species usually grow up to two meters of in length. It was a mid - tier beast, mainly found in these areas.

Their group was having normal conversation when they started hearing wolves howls from their front.
Nicolas placed stood up straight and activated his ability. His legs started to transformed in to black lepored like animal. After his transformation he climbed the near by tree in a single leap.
He settled his legs on the branch and looked towards the area were the howls were comming from but the moment he saw the reason behind the howls his whole body froze.
He eye's went as wide it could get from the shocked it just experienced.
Hearing no reply from Nicolas for a while the other teammate shouted at him.
" Nicholas what do you see ?"
Nicholas who was frozen by the shocking discovery, came back from his stupper and jumped down.
He went to his teammates and used the horrifying word, which sent shiver to his teammates spines.

Every single one of them had a shocked expression. Somewhere even shaking in fear by the shocking revelation.
" W- What d did you say ?" The female in the team asked Nicolas.

Nicholas was about to complete his sentence when suddenly felt something passed from his chest, Nicholas looked down and saw a sharp monster claw passing straight from his chest.
He looked up to his scared friends and said his final word's.
" H H Helph "
But, before they could even do somthing, the whole team was attacked by a pack of Wolf's.
Soon only the scream remained in the tied of monsters.
