Kasma gently laid down the wet body of Tara. The pale light of the altar fire flickered in the water drops, making them glow like pearls. The oval-shaped face with plump lips had turned bluish. The soft mounds were in perfect shape and were waiting to be sucked dry. But Kasma didn't bend down, instead, he looked behind. From the pile of ashes, a figure noiselessly appeared like a ghost.
The muscular body dark as night was covered in ashes. The man's eyes were blood-red, not because of anger but intemperance. His long matted hair was tied in a bun on his head. For clothes, he had only a loincloth on him.
Kasma didn't bother to ask who the newcomer was or how the hell he had appeared there despite his blood shield still on. He swiftly summoned his bow and shot an arrow, while grabbing his clothes.
"I'm not your enemy, Moriyan." said the man calmly. Unfazed by the Moriyan'sarrow, his eyes were fixed at Kasma's grim face.
