Klotic and I have been training for about a week now and I have gotten the hang of this floating skill. Multiple attempts led to quite almost mastering this difficult gift, but it wasn't too difficult, I am Adam Silvia after all.
"Excellent." Klotic says. "You're ready."
I look up with pride. "Do you really think so, Klotic?"
"Absolutely." Klotic smiles. "In one day we will be returning to the castle in order to spy on their meeting once again."
"Spying on the meeting does not sound pleasant…." I sigh. "Will you be using the same tactic as before?"
"Of course not, you will be using your gift." Klotic walks to me and points to my chest. "In order for you to sneak inside you need to mask your presence, can you do that?"
I gulp. "How can I mask my presence?"
"Use the floating skill." Klotic backs away. "Try to use the skill as you manifest your stealth."
I follow his orders and I float for a moment, then I try to use my stealth. In a mere second, I was able to feel as if my body had no weight and then opened my eyes to see darkness.
"Tell me what you see." Klotic says.
"I see darkness, is this safe, Klotic?" I ask.
"Totally… keep your eyes closed and concentrate your mana into your sight." Klotic says. "Then open your eyes once more and look towards me to let me know you have acquired your new stealth skill."
"Stealth skill?" I say.
"Yes, you will need this skill in order to enter the castle." Klotic says. "In order to use this properly though, you will have to use it against me."
"I see." I say.
"Now focus." Klotic repeats. "Concentrate on your mana and use your stealth."
I listen to Klotic and focus for a second to close my eyes. In the still moment I open them and see Klotic's body as what may be described of a dark blue void. The space surrounding him was blinding to me. I close my eyes and open them again to see everything normal once more. I then decided to float back down to the floor and meet eyes with Klotic.
"What was that?" I ask. "My vision seemed distorted…"
"That was your vision speaking to you." Klotic smiles. "Adam Silvia, you have acquired the ability to master the Stealth skill."
"What happened while I was using the skill, did you see anything?" I curiously walk over.
"Not unintentionally no." Klotic says.
"Then what?" I ask.
"In my eyes I see things that are in sight of the stealth skill." Klotic says. "This enables me to reveal one's true form to recognize them as friend or foe."
"Oh, I see…" I think. "So, what did you see?"
"In my eyes, you look like your body is consistently emitting mana, the lack in use is making this happen." Klotic says. "Have you ever used magic before you found out that you are the reincarnation of Al Krelin?"
"Not in the slightest." I say bluntly.
"I supposed it is quite understanding, are you a lord in your house?" Klotic says.
"Indeed I am, how did you know?" I ask.
"Your obedience is one, and how you fight is another." Klotic notes. "The slim chance of you managing to master all that Al Krelin has mastered may just save us all. That is if he cannot be revived, though I trust you on that part, Adam."
"I do not understand, Klotic, what does my rich blood have any say in this matter?" I say. "I am but the son of a rich man, and a generous one at that."
"To my understandings, that means your bloodline has not been corrupt." Klotic smiles. "Even better in this case, you have more power over most."
"That is a relief coming from you, Klotic." I say. "It means a lot to me."
"Now, enough diddle dawdling." Klotic says. "Let us continue your training, commence the stealth skill once more."
"Yes, sir." I say.
The training goes on for hours on end and I finally mastered the stealth skill, though that was only the easy part. It took more of my mana to try the God and Satan spell. We were now in a large room concealed by magic at the bottom of the house.
"Focus, Adam, you need to master the spell if anything goes wrong." Klotic raises his voice from afar.
"This is beyond my ability, Klotic!" I yell. "Understand that I am the only one able to do this other than Al Krelin who is currently not in his being. Though, why must I do this now?"
"Unless you wish to have second guesses in your current life like Al Krelin had, I highly suggest it." Klotic says.
I attempted the spell as said by Al Krelin. "Moon and sun, dark and light, create and destroy. Reign hell from the heavens, I call upon God and Satan!"
Nothing happened and I sigh as I quickly give up. Klotic instantly comes over to me leaving lighting strikes behind his tracks. I was then staring in the eyes of a void, in unexpected fear I flinched when Klotic poked my chest.
"Do not copy the words of Al Krelin's incantation." Klotic says. "Use your own, Adam Silvia."
Then quickly, he goes back to a safe distance away from me. I slowly breathe to try again, though this time with my own words. "That is of the skies and the earth, shall this procure the power of God and Satan. Reveal your grace and terror upon the mortals!"
My body then felt as if it weighed nothing, and I was being lifted by what looked like a red pillar rising from the ground. I look towards Klotic who was visibly confused, I became confused as well. This was all happening so quickly, though I had no idea what was happening I looked above me and saw a golden circle come down and I was stopped in the air, floating as Klotic ran over to my direction.
"What is happening?!" I yell from high above.
"This has never been witnessed by my own eyes, though I do forget Al Krelin ran while casting his spell!" Klotic yells back.
In an instant I was out of my focus and the spell began to vanish as I was falling in the air. Klotic managed to catch me before I hit the ground and I shake from the sudden near-death experience.
"You are lucky that I am here to supervise." Klotic sighs.
