Gu Jin woke up and opened his eyes. Inside the car was pitch-black. He was scared out of his wits!
His whole body quivered. He was stunned for a long time before he remembered what had happened.
The thought made his heart skip a beat.
"Could something have happened to them? It's already dark outside. Why aren't they back yet?"
Gu Jin's voice woke Zhao Ying. She was still in a daze. Before she even opened her eyes, she asked drowsily, "Aren't they back yet? Li Ran had a gun. There shouldn't be any problem."
However, all Gu Jin could do was shrug. It was already dark out and he felt cold. He rubbed his eyes and shook his head. Then, he took a deep breath.
Suddenly, an unfamiliar voice could be heard
"Brothers, there's a car here! It looks quite new! The wheels do not look worn out at all."
Gu Jin's heart sank. He dared not make a sound.
