Before Hallie Morgan could say anything, passersby laughed derisively at them. Since they were speaking Japanese, the girls didn't understand, but from their expressions, it seemed they weren't saying anything nice.
Eliza Long frowned and looked over.
She understood what they were saying and cursed angrily, "These people are mocking us."
Hallie Morgan said speechlessly, "You understand Japanese?"
