The director looked at Hallie Morgan with praise.
"Hallie, you're so professional. You're so cooperative."
Hallie didn't feel there was anything wrong with that. "It's what I should do anyway."
As soon as she walked out, she saw Betty Jones from the next door coming over.
Seeing Hallie, Betty hurriedly said, "Hallie, what a coincidence, are you here for the cover shoot too?"
Hallie said, "I don't know you that well. There's no need for greetings."
She brushed past Betty and walked away.
"You…"
Betty was surprised; she'd never been so straightforward before.
She followed, "Hallie, why are you being so resistant to me? I want to be friends with you, that's why I tried to greet you. Can't we get familiar by talking more?"
Seeing Betty trying to get closer, Hallie pushed her away in disgust.
"Why should I be friends with you if I don't like you? Betty, I'm not a saint, and I don't like strangers touching me. If you touch me again, I won't be polite."
