"Huh? No." Hallie Morgan fiddled with her ear.

Dylan Collins said, "If there's anything, just tell me."

Hallie Morgan knew she couldn't hide anything and casually replied, "I'm not a child anymore. I can handle some things by myself. Besides, it's not a big deal. I was quite looking forward to giving you this gift, and I didn't want to spoil the mood with this topic. Plus, if I gave you a gift only after talking about it, it would seem like I'm bothering you again. It's not my intention to bother you; I just wanted to give you something, without expecting anything in return!"
A warmth spread through Dylan Collins's heart.
