Hallie Morgan glanced helplessly at Thea Long, who was lost.
Lady Long was not accustomed to this sort of scene, she was always respected and pampered. Today, after quarreling with Solomon Myers, she ran out, only to stumble upon such an incident.
Hallie lowered her eyes to look at the old lady. "Alright, auntie, stop crying. I've called an ambulance for you. They haven't refused to pay you yet. Relax a bit, she's pregnant. What if something happened to the baby?"
The old lady lifted her head; however, she had no intention of letting go.
"I won't let go. If I let go, what if she runs? I won't let go. I don't…"
Kylie Morales was anxious. "Auntie, they've already said they won't leave. Why are you still clutching onto her?"
"I refuse to. We genuinely don't have any money. No money..."
Thea ran her hand through her hair, looking utterly exhausted.
She looked towards Hallie, moving her lips, but ultimately said nothing.
That's when the ambulance arrived.
