Maxwell Garland puckered his lips intentionally, "You're favoring Casper Tremont's movie over mine, huh."
"Not at all, I'm just trying to get more famous. Imagine if I win Best Actress, then when our TV drama broadcasts, it'll have a Best Actress in it, right? So, I have to work hard. To make our TV drama more influential."
Pfft.
Maxwell Garland couldn't help but laugh.
"You sure have a way with words."
Maxwell Garland also knew how difficult it was for an actor to land a role in a Casper Tremont film, and he wouldn't stop her.
"Then I'll thank Director Garland in advance." Hallie Morgan stuck out her tongue and made a few more jokes before leaving.
Maxwell Garland shook his head and said, "This girl is quirky and irreverent. You say she's disrespectful, but she always has a point. You say she respects her elders and loves the young, but she's bold enough to joke about anything."
