Hallie Morgan looked inside. Indeed, people were still working overtime in there, while folks from the other teams had packed up and gone home. They were busy as bees, industrious to a fault.
"This isn't a farming competition. The one who sweats the most doesn't necessarily win." Hallie picked up her little bag, her indifferent demeanor amusing Mason Larch.
"You really are one of a kind..."
Hallie spotted Rex Morales behind them, briefly said goodbye to Mason, and then turned to look at Rex.
"What are you doing here?"
Rex Morales looked at Hallie.
"Hallie, why haven't you gone home yet? Oh, right. You're here as a team leader. I heard Catherine York's also a team leader. She's always been competitive since her school days. She hasn't mistreated you, has she?"
"You know Catherine York?" Hallie asked, surprised.
