Annie turned her head and was shocked to see Maya Morales approaching.
She almost didn't recognize her.

Annie stood there, looking at Maya's round face which was adorned with a confident and composed smile, making her seem much cheerier overall.
It took her a moment to react, and she quickly asked, "Maya, you've changed so much. Have you been successful in losing weight?"
Maya brushed her hair, "Yes, I'm getting engaged soon, and I can't fit into the dress you gifted me, so I decided to lose weight. What were you just saying about me?
