Catherine York followed Hallie Morgan into the supermarket.
Each person only had 50 dollars to prepare a decent dish, what should they buy?
Before Hallie even began considering, Catherine took the reins and asserted her dominance.
"I've heard we're going to compete, whoever cooks the best dish gets the resources. Don't worry, Hallie, you can leave it to me. Let's see what we should buy. I'll cook. I've learned some recipes from Michelin chefs before. It might be useful today. Plus, I know the preferences of a few people… If Dylan's has not changed, he likes light dishes. We used to dine together often."
Hallie saw Catherine reaching her hand out, seemingly wanting to take the 50 dollars.
But Hallie guarded her shopping money, suggesting, "Shouldn't we first make a list and plan what to buy, analyzing the price to avoid running out of money?"
Catherine didn't expect this response from Hallie or that she would pose such a request.
