The ceremony was finally over, and Hallie Morgan collapsed in her room.
"Getting married is so exhausting, I never want to do it again," she sobbed.
"Again?" Dylan Collins turned to look at her, "so, you're thinking of getting remarried?
Thinking of a second marriage before even being married, quite ambitious of her.
"That's not what I meant! What if one day you meet a woman you love and want to marry? I'd have to step aside, right?"
Hallie quickly explained, looking at his astonishingly long face.
Having spent so much on the wedding just for her to say such things, it wasn't exactly great.
But then again, her marriage to Dylan wasn't exactly traditional. He married her for the sake of their child. If he eventually meets his dream girl, what could she possibly do?
Her explanation didn't make Dylan's face any more cheerful, instead, it darkened further.
"Alright, alright, I was wrong, I promise, in my books, there's no divorce, only widowhood."
