In the hospital, as soon as Dylan Collins entered the door, he was immediately scolded by Madam Berg.
"What the hell is going on with you? You said you would treat Ally well, and we trusted you. But when we needed you, you were nowhere to be found. Ally said you've been busy these days. If you're busy, then don't hold up our Ally. It's not like there aren't others chasing after her."
Dylan's eyebrows were furrowed, but let her pound his shoulder a few times anyway.
"Mom, what are you doing? It's not entirely his fault." Ally Berg's weak voice came from inside the room.
"Auntie, I'll go check on Ally first."
Dylan Collins pushed the door and walked in, seeing the rare unmade-up face of Ally Berg, sitting there pale and frail. She looked annoyed at his arrival.
"Why are you just coming now..."
On the way here, Dylan had already heard from Ben Myers.
