The energy is moving in a straight line towards them but suddenly a wire thick as material slashes through the energy dispersing it.

The material retreated, Shino and Yuki's eyes followed it. It came to where Sumi was. She took harsh breaths, the twin wires swirling around her hand from the power of her blood. Izumi was behind her.
