Adam Pov

Hello. I'm Adam Clearwater. Being a part of a mutant generation that was born nearly 20 years after their previous generation made us the popular ones. Yet time passed on as random tectonic plate movement resulted in explosions in areas all around the world. After a lot of time searching, people figured that Europe was currently and all the people in the world were shipped into Europe.

Europeans used this as an opportunity, and local people quickly became the only ones to enjoy the luxury of eating fruits, albeit rarely. Anything farmable or fishable instantly inflated to the point where normal people couldn't afford it anymore. The walls were projects that were made to protect them, marking their 'territory' as the monsters hurt any adult that was outside of the walls, with the top of the walls were being terrorized by the avian monster that was once birds, now had miniguns on their backs, but they also killed government officials that were to go across, should they have not died in the hands of mutated monsters, yet these creatures never wanted to breach the wall.

The common populace survived on protein mix from the fruit of the vines that grown over the walls and had contained all necessary nutrients and was especially cheap, but there were homeless people everywhere, with most of humanity living in the Tower now knows as the Edmus. The poorest of the poor living on the bottom floor and were slaves to work to earn cheap pay and bad living conditions and a lot of waste food. My family lived on the middle-lower floors. With my dad being a government officer, we were given basic living facilities, which would be a normal 2 bedroom which was once shared by my parent and one for me and my sister.

And for a while, everything was fine, but then Dover tower was raided, and I LOST sister Leslie to the crowd. Ever since then, the tower was crammed, which should've lived in the 140th floor moved down to 115 as there were too many people and adjustments had to be made, while they still get rewards, hence the change. We would be living in a flat on a floor between the 69th - 75th floor if not for my father. Although expensive, we managed to come by.

Nearly 7 years later, he had lucid dreams where he would chat with her and share everything while she just listened or nodded. At first, he thought he was having a hallucination of her but realised that she was really alive, and it was too late after listening to the mad scientists and being able to see them partially.

'wait, where are you going?" he asked, but she just smiled and said, " It was good to talk to you, but I don't think we can meet again." She radiated familiarity if anything.
