"I have heard about this!" San Zhe said to her. "Though I can't remember exactly where it was that I heard this in particular but I know the reason why they need our permission to kill the boy!"
Cheng Xiu nodded in understanding. "What is it?"
"It is the gamer rule," San Zhe said to her. "If you have locked the killing target of a Boss creature, NPCs cannot interfere. If they want to interfere, then they need the explicit permission of the Player!"
Cheng Xiu frowned behind her mask. "Does that mean that these creatures know that we are gamers?"
