San Zhe tried to return to his senses but the searing pain that Cheng Xiu left as she tried to 'Cure' him of still made him dizzy.
"Are you okay?" Chu Ying asked him.
Cheng Xiu hovered around him, concerned.
San Zhe just sat there for a moment and then looked at the place where the snake boss was supposed to be. There was only a golden miasma left of the great Snake Boss now.
"That was the technique that Lord Yaksha used."
Cheng Xiu looked at him with guilty eyes. She nodded.
"The one that hurt a lot last time."
Cheng Xiu nodded again. "Sorry."
"It did not hurt that much this time," he said to her in surprise.
She looked up at him in surprise. "Really?"
San Zhe nodded. It was not the punishing pain that he had experienced with the Great Master at all. It was better. Only by a margin, but it was better!
Cheng Xiu let out a relieved sigh when she realised that he was not just trying to placate her.
