San Zhe moved forwards, and kneeled in front of the boy.
"Hello," San Zhe said to him in a low voice, "You can call me Uncle San? What is your name?"
The boy spared him a glance and went back to looking at the girls again.
"Give," the boy said to Cheng Xiu.
Cheng Xiu rolled her eyes at him.
Just as she was about to ask the boy about how she could give him the power the area around them got surrounded by snakes.
There red and black ones and even a golden one.
She had the feeling that the golden one was the leader of the group. She released her sword copies and got into position.
"It would seem that even a Halfling is useful in these situations," a voice said. It had the quality of a hiss to it.
Cheng Xiu's eyes remaind on the golden snake. She was sure that was where the sound had come from.
San Zhe took out his trident as he stepped between the snakes and the Halfling boy.
