Cheng Xiu's stared at the place that the two lights were coming form, her mind still on the delightful conversation that she had with Lord Yaksha.
She tried to get him to reveal why she had to be especially careful in the next round but he had kept quite about it.
Cheng Xiu welcomed San Zhe and Chu Ying with a warm smile.
"Sister Xiu!" Both San Zhe and Chu Ying called at the same time.
"How are you today?" Chu Ying asked.
"What is our next creature?" Cheng Xiu asked, by passing that question. Chu Ying's question reminded her about Gu Shu's behaviour and the good mood that she had after talking to Lord Yaksha had disappeared.
Chu Ying instictly felt the mood shift and chose to not be nosy. "Snakes."
Cheng Xiu frowned. Snakes?
Her mind went to the snake attack that she had faced not too long ago. Was that why Lord Yaksha said those words? Was she the perfect prey for snakes?
