"Gu Shu?" Cheng Xiu called in surprise as she came down.
The pink-haired girl looked up from the assortment of snacks in front of her, her mouth stuffed with puffed pastries towards her.
With both her cheeks bulging, she looked like a squirrel.
Cheng Xiu's lips twitched, wanting to laugh at the girl's silly look but knowing that would not be appreciated.
"What are you doing here?" Cheng Xiu asked.
"Can't I visit you?" Gu Shu asked with a pout.
"Of course you can, but you rarely do unless you have something that you want me to do."
Gu Shu glared at her. "You make me sound like those people who only make friends with people when it benefits them"
"Aren't you though?" Cheng Xiu teased. "Be honest, isn't that why you are here?"
Gu Shu sighed. "No. You misunderstood me."
Cheng Xiu rolled her eyes at the girl. They both knew that Cheng Xiu was right in this situation.
