It was 5 am in the morning and the team has gathered because of the loud sound Mai made when she fell off couch. They're checking on her but saw she rubbed her butt and head as she got up. It was refreshing to see Ayako wasn't wearing thick make up. Mai was already preparing tea for the narcissistic boss.
"Explain," Naru ordered after having his much needed tea in the morning.
"I saw a boy and a girl who's wearing sailor uniform and they're chasing around playfully. And one day the boy fell from the window and their parents closed the boy's room and locked it. After a while the girl come back and hugs the boy but the boy just sat there motionlessly," Mai explained. "Somehow, I feel that the culprit wasn't the siblings."
"Wait!" Yasu shouted as he shuffled through the paper. " Here, after they moved out, there's a renovation went on, its said they had to throw out a lot of mirror, and there's mirror on the hallway and corridor too."
"Damn who wants to see their own face every day and night?" Ayako chided.
They stared at Naru as if pointing to him.
"Find out who and when the mirror was installed," Naru commanded.
"They didn't install it before the sister got married," Mai said. "When was the first missing girl? A year after the sister got married?"
"We're too focused on this household that we forgot about the husband household," Yasu read it from his laptop. "Higuchi, the Fujiwara's fourth son was taking his wife's surename, thus he became Kobayashi. But there's something interesting in Higuchi. He is a case of extreme narcissistic that even our boss couldn't hold a candle. He loves doing everything while facing mirror, and that include...."
All the adult including Lin coughed while Yasu's glasses glinted on the reflection. Naru read it and blushed slightly. Mai was confused to see the reaction and she took the laptop and read it. Her reaction? her face was redder than tomato and her mouth gape open as if her jaw dropped on the floor and she rolled her eyes.
Yasu snatched his laptop back in time before Mai dropped it and sighed out of relief. "I think we're dealing with r*pist ghost who has narcissistic tendency," he fixed his glasses and came to that conclusion.
Mai sighed as she couldn't erased those words from her mind and she grabbed the thermostat and notepad and walked out of the door.
Naru quickly followed her but as he opened the door, she was nowhere to be found and he replayed the video and saw her ran to her room.
He sighed and went out and waited for her outside the room. She came out and avoided him.
"Mai, it's dangerous," Naru grabbed her hand.
Mai blushed as she realized that the narcissistic boss worried and she slowed down. "I just need to take a breath outside," her face redden like tomato as she realized the boss wouldn't take her hand off.
"I'm not planning to let your hand go since you're a danger magnet, Mai." he said firmly and dragged her out of the building.
But as soon as they reached the end of the corridor, they felt cold and the thermostat in Mai's hand beeped and they saw a mirror appeared in front of them. Mai was glad Naru was with her and held her close. But she couldn't help but shiver when she saw the reflection wasn't hers or Naru but Reiko asked for help. She saw that the girl doesn't have her uniform anymore and there's someone on top of her. He's good looking, but have very creepy face as he keep staring at the mirror.
"Rin! Pyou! Tou! Sha! Kai! Jin! Retsu! Zai! Zen!" Mai did her nine cut like Ayako told her too. And the mirror vanished.
"Mai," the rest of the team came and running. Mai was blushing and Naru averted his gaze to anywhere but the spot where the mirror was and dragged Mai with him into the base again.
"Matsuzaki, make a strong protection charm for Mai," Naru ordered once they're inside the base. "And Mai, tea."
Mai sighed. "How many times you drank it already?" But went to make the tea for the narcissistic tea infused boss.
"Reiko is still alive and this place should be closed from student," Naru said. "And it's safer if they went in by group if they need to grab anything."
Mai's face reddened as he mention Reiko and she put the cup of tea in front of him.
"Your conclusion wasn't wrong, but how do we make him passed on," Mai sighed.
