Synopsis
Those who reincarnate as the villainess or a side character would always hate the heroine and the male lead. Yet, by the end of the novel, they become exactly what they swore to destroy. Or perhaps worse. A reincarnated villainess who woke up and became cute and cheesy, destroying her previous evil image and is now doted by her own reverse harem? Check. A reincarnated villainess who will, at every chance, run away from male leads for no reason at all, and slap a maid for her own good? Check. A reincarnated side character who would rather ‘stick to the plot line’ while ruining the lives all around her and is suddenly a hot topic? Check. A reincarnated side character who becomes an edgy, ‘cold-hearted’ and ‘emotionless’ prodigy who simply got plot armour and plagiarised modern technology? Check. Hey, I can’t do this anymore. Lady Madonna, the head of an orphanage in a fantasy novel, peacefully passed away in her sleep. In the afterlife, she is given a free will. “I want to become the reincarnator terminator!” Lady Madonna will save the ex-heroines and heroes so the orphanage’s children can sleep knowing that their favourite character is not ruined by some sketchy author.

Chapter 1 - Prologue

A mother's job is to care and nurture her children until the day they are grown enough to leave the nest and to fly off into their bright future. That is Madonna's job as an orphanage mother, caring for her children tenderly.

War is a horrible thing, and seeing how many children are left behind because of it made her heart sank. A child whose future could grow and live happily is now, instead, thrown onto the grown mercilessly and will never see the light of day again. Lady Madonna felt her first maternal instincts as she picked up the crying infant on the ground softly, gazing at their face.

Beauty was not the right word to describe these newborns. They were not aesthetically pleasing, but for the first time, looking into those red, wrinkled eyes and sloppy figure, Madonna could feel a warm, buzzing light in her heart. She carefully touched the baby's forehead. She pronounced it one of the most priceless encounters she had ever been in.

And so, countless of children have been saved by Madonna. They ate, they laughed, they cried. They were children, living a childhood, smiling in times of war. For them, Madonna was apart their world, and for Madonna, they were her world.

The children loved reading, perhaps due to the abundance of books within the orphanage. It was only a matter of time before they are introduced to eastern literature, including the famous light-novels. Seeing how happy it made them, Madonna couldn't help but thank and adore the books.

However, she soon discovers another genre- reincarnation. At first, it didn't seem so bad. Interested, Madonna would peek within the pages and read- and to her surprise, what was inside was completely unjust.

The children's favourite characters horribly thrown aside by an arrogant reincarnator, who claims to change the plot for the better. Or the unjust murder and torture that is overlooked, all happening to the children's favourite character.

When on her deathbed, Madonna realised that she could not protect them any longer. Once she is gone, their reality will be up to them, and their future will be bright and clear. There is no need to protect them any longer. However, the children's favourite characters need protection, so the wonderful memories can live on. Before her last breath ceases, Madonna prayed to God to let her become Just itself.

'I want to become a Reincarnator Terminator.'

Madonna's wishes seemed to be replied with silence. As she closed her eyes, she was somewhat happy. Her life is fulfilled because of them. So if anything, she wants to protect what they love the most, even as she dies.
