Looks like he knows how to fight. Peeking out again I poured my mental powers to Mark the plant as we converse about my plan how to bring myself and Jack safely back to Janice's house. "Baka di pa marunong magluto ito ah (What if he doesn't even know how to cook?)" I muttered as I took Mark, my biodgesic, and a knife out of my bag. "See him?" I asked Mark loud enough for Jack to hear as I point. "That's your power?" he asked awkwardly scratching his neck. "Yup. Jack meet Mark and this is our plan," after telling him my plan he uncontrollably looked at me dubiously. "Don't worry" I said as a reply to his doubts.
Giving him a large knife to protect himself we both rushed out, running across the street as I manipulated Mark to use his long stems that grew longer by eating raw animal meat(Since I manipulated him by telling him those meat are human meat. He immediately felt and tasted that it is human.) to make a wall like defense on both our side but since he is not that long some zombies came rushing in as I use Janice's axe to behead multiple zombies at once. There's not much of them but enough to be cautious of so we safely crossed the road.
From there we entered the house in front of Jack's base as we closed the door immediately. A shriek escaped Mark's main rose as we accidentally chopped one of his stems off. "Sorry" I whispered lulling him to sleep with a lullaby in my head. Panting Jack said, "So what now?". "Now it'll be easier to go back to Janice's house," I said. And so we cautiously went in and out of the houses to reach Janice's house.
"At last!" I said stretching "I'll rest for a bit you explore and also don't dare to open the door leading to the roof it's filled with Mark the Plant's friends." I said taking my bloody clothes off. "Yea sure," he said walking to the kitchen. "How come this house still has electricity and well clean water? or water in general? " he said peeking out his head from the kitchen. "Generator and their water came from underground and they have a filter" I said drifting to sleep.
