"Master, I have arrived." An Lin dismounted the sword in one swift movement.
He respectfully handed the cloak to the Grandmaster Lan. "Master, disciple has brought this as well." Grandmaster looked at the cloak and nodded his head.
That nod alone was enough for An Lin to feel happy. Getting even just an expression out of Grandmaster Lan was equivalent to getting thousands praises from someone else. Nope, for An Lin that was much better than thousands of fake compliments.
"I am all dressed." Le Fangling came out from behind the tree after wearing her robe.
The white inner gown was made up of silk that highlighted her tall and slim body having curves at just the right places.
The green belt that was bound at her waist made her figure stand out even more. Small waist with a nice and well-sized round bottom, she looked like a pure goddess who descended upon earth from the heavens.
The only thing she was missing was a sword that could defy the laws the heaven and earth to give her the perfect finishing look.
The locks that fell perfectly entangled with each other made everything perfect but…..
"Ahemm.." Grandmaster Lan once again turned around coughing.
An Lin could not help but frown looking at Le Fangling.
Everything was perfect except her chest that was about to tear off the front of her silk gown.
"Why the heck are you so uselessly big?" An Lin stared at her cleavage that looked like a narrow path between two mountains; dangerous but enticing at the same time.
She had finally managed to wear this multi-layered robe after failing many times but there was this problem of chest size.
"...", Le fangling did not how to reply to this concern from the system.
"It' s fine...You don't worry about trivial things." She sighed.
"Shouldn't I inform my family?? They might be worried if I leave like this." Although she asked this, she doubted she even had relatives or families who still worried about her.
Not having any memory of the body she was in was turning out to be a greater handicap than she had thought.
"Everything has been taken care of." Grandmaster Lan informed her and looked around at the surrounding they were at.
"You two do realize the place you are at right now is a forbidden area right?" Grandmaster Lan looked at the two youngster before him and said in a solemn voice.
Both of them did not speak anything and stood silently waiting for what was coming for them.
'I think the same too.' Le Fangling stepped forward and kneeled in front of him.
"Grandmaster Lan, This was a mistake on my part. I accept any punishment." Her voice was determined and unfaltering.
An Lin followed her suite and asked for forgiveness at the same time.
"As long as you know your mistake, its fine this time."
He would have loved to discipline both of them here and now but the place and time was not favorable.
Grandmaster Lan recalled the swirling black clouds in the western region, with a worried expression. The peace they had worked thousands of years to maintain seemed to be crumbling down, as the foundation got eaten slowly from the core itself.
'The future will present itself….let's focus on present old man.' Grandmaster Lan consoled himself and waved off his thoughts away from the ominous black clouds.
He had to return back to the Sect as soon as possible.
They could fly on the sword but that was going to take them more than 4 or 5 days at most since they were flying from southern to northern province.
If he was to use transportation array, it will take up more spiritual energy. But since they were at a region with strong spiritual energy, he could transport all three of them back to the Vermilion Bird Peak easily.
"We will return back to the sect directly from here." He swiftly brought a talisman and held it in his finger.
He muttered something closing his eyes, followed by a few handsigns.
A hexagonal shaped glowing formation lighted up on the ground, making Grandmaster as the centre.
"Let's go!" An Lin gestured to Le Fangling and both of them joined the grandmaster inside the circle.
'Swoosh~~~~' In a blink of an eye, the whole area was empty with not even a single soul in sight except a torn dress that was swaying in the wind from where it hanged, on the branch of a tall tree.
.
.
The system informed Le Fangling as soon as the sensation under her feet changed from lush green weeds to cold and rough stone.
'En, understood.' Le Fangling looked around and saw that they had arrived at a mountainous rocky region.
"We have arrived at the Vermillion Bird Peak." An Lin looked at the snow covered rocky mountains with pride and happiness evident in his eyes.
"Welcome to the Eternal Blossom Sect, Shimei." An Lin gave a sincere smile.
Although he still didn't like her, he also didn't have a reason to hate her except for her family name.
"Why do you look so happy?" Fangling looked at the barren and cold mountains that were unwelcoming.
"How is one supposed to survive here?' Le Fangling thought glancing at the snow covered places.
"You will know once you get adjusted here." He replied with a smug and pride.
Why won't he be happy when he was returning to his warm home that had sheltered him since his childhood.
All three of them had landed on an open area that had a small shrine but nothing else was visible in the place. The whole place looked white, silent and deserted.
Grandmaster Lan stood still in front of the shrine. He raised his right hand in the air and with swift and effortless movement wrote strange bright characters on the air.
Le Fangling looked at him impressed, excited and with curiosity.
"Hahh!!"
Pressing the character with his palm the grandmaster gave out a small and short grunt.
The ground shook slightly as if there was earthquake but it stopped abruptly just as it had come.
Along with the quake, her eyes were almost blinded by a bright blue light that seemed to have engulfed the whole mountain.
Afraid she might ruin her eyes, she quickly shielded them with her hands. It was just a normal reflex action.
"Its fine….you can open them now." An Lin chuckled silently as he instructed the *frightened* girl who had covered up whole of her face.
"...", Le Fangling could hear him pitying her in what he just said.
'But...' She was not frightened but rather was only trying to protect her eyes.
Little did she know, An Lin had regarded her 'self protection' as something else.
Waiting for a while she removed the hands from her eyes and what she saw made her shocked speechless.
She felt as if she died once and came back to life just to see the scene before her.
Snowy white mountains filled with pink and white cherry blossoms that stretched as far as her eyes could see.
"Are you just going to stare?" An Lin nudged her forward from where she stood. "This is the real Eternal Blossom Sect. Once again Welcome."
"Ohh..Ahh…" In daze at what she saw, Le fan
fangling walked inside the light that separated the place she stood and the beautiful haven.
"Ling'er.." An Lin stopped her and spoke as he gave a long sigh. "Be mindful and careful….you are hated by most of the disciples."
As if shaken ruthlessly from her sleep, she looked at An Lin with a confused and questionable look. But she got answer as soon as she asked it.
'Swoosh….'
In a flash of an eye, an arrow flew towards her and went right pass her right ear. In the place where she stood fresh drop of blood dripped down on the white snow near her feet making a deep contrast.
"Hiss..."Le Fangling knitted her brows in pain.
The pain came later than the blood. The arrow had made a deep and sharp but clean cut on her round cheeks and had struck the pine tree a few meters behind her.
"I had warned you." An Lin said, nonchalant as if he had expected this.
Le Fangling looked at the direction from where the arrow had flown towards her.
On the top of one of the rocky hill, a man stood clad in the robes as same as her but on his cold face was inexplicable anger and there was murderous intent in his black eyes as they gazed on the figure of the girl who had blood dripping from her cheeks.
