"I want to ask you a few things. Yesterday you seemed to be still in shock, now you're feeling better right," said Rara.
Mai bit her lip. Her heart was beating faster, cold sweat began to pour out. She fiddled with her fingers. Rara glanced at her, Mai became more and more afraid.
"What happened that night? My brother saved you right. How did he get stabbed?" asked Rara directly.
"He... He... Fighting," replied Mai.
"One of them was carrying a knife." Mai's memory returned to that night.
Mai saw herself picking up the knife and walking towards Aaron and one of the goons who were still fighting with her. Mai stumbled and the knife stuck in Aaron's stomach. Mai closed her eyes, she was wracked with guilt.
"I have a feeling that Aaron doesn't want to prolong the case." Rara sighed.
"He's hiding the wound, he refuses to be taken to the hospital and is willing to have stitches without a painkiller. That's too extreme." Rara laughed mockingly.
