Slowly he tried to walk, his movements were like a toddler learning to walk. The pain got worse as he stepped on his feet but he tried to ignore it. He can't give up now, someone needs him out there even though his bed looks so tempting right now. Lying down and closing your eyes is more comfortable than forcing yourself to walk and move.
With great difficulty, Aaron managed to walk a few steps. He was almost near the exit when he felt his body suddenly wobble. He quickly settled on a short cupboard nearby. He almost nudged the flower vase on top.
Aaron took another breath, trying to get rid of the stinging and pain that was tormenting him while gathering all his remaining strength.
"Not bad," he mumbled. He was getting used to it, he was sure he could endure the pain for a while longer. He glanced towards the exit and prepared himself. Time to face the problem, he determined.
