Mai forced herself to nod and smiled slightly. How could she possibly feel good when she knew someone had to endure the trouble she created. How could she feel good when her fate was about to be decided.
The shadow of the iron bars haunted her, Mai felt scared. Hearing Boban's words earlier it seemed like Aaron's family already knew that Aaron was injured. Aaron might get some help after this. Aaron probably wouldn't say what happened but until when they could keep their mouths shut.
"Miss Mai must come with you," said one of the bodyguards as Aaron was about to leave.
"She has to go home," Aaron replied indifferently.
"This is your father's orders," said the bodyguard again.
Mai choked, she glanced at Aaron with a frightened expression.
"No, she's not coming," Aaron said, he still refused.
"Your father doesn't like to be denied and we've been given orders." Said the bodyguard again.
