They were just kids, they were just playing, they didn't understand a thing, just like her and Aaron. They were just playing and then the incident happened. Who was to blame, their parents not watching as the Porters accused her father of being negligent. It was Aaron's fault who pushed her swing until Mai almost fell and in the end, Aaron himself fell for trying to save Mai. Or is Mai's fault for playing on the swing in a standing position even though her father once said it was dangerous.
Maybe it wasn't anyone's fault but what Sean Porter did afterward was very cruel, just because of a small mistake that wasn't even Mai's fault or her father's fault.
