Rose immediately said 'no' as soon as she knew Mai would be spending her semester break in Bandung. If Mai just wants to stay at the place of Puspa, her sister-in-law, and play with her cousins Karina and Esteban, it doesn't matter but Mai wants to go on vacation with her friends, not to mention when Mai said she wanted to explore her past, about the accident. Mai wants to get back all her memories.
Harry also agreed with Rose especially when he found out that the number of sons outnumbered his daughters.
"What if you get harassed?" Harry said he was starting to get scared.
"Oh my gosh, dad, they're all good kids. After all, you know Thomas and Eddo, they're my best friends from middle school, dad," Mai argues.
"I don't know the other three," said Harry.
"Their names are Boban, Aaron, and Riven, they're friends of Thomas too." Said Mai.
"Aaron?" Rose asked, her expression strange at the mention of that name.
