Mai was stunned, her normally calm lover turned out to be fierce.
Aaron could have served Luna and her gang but he was more concerned with Mai. Staying in the crowd of Luna and her nosy friends could affect Mai's mind and bring the girl down again. Aaron didn't want that to happen.
"Don't listen to anything they say," he said to Mai while covering the girl's ears with his hands.
Mai only smiled faintly but she could hear Riven reply. Their nosy taunts even threatened that if they still wanted to study here, they should not disturb Mai. Mai shuddered at the threat, Riven became more like Rara and Sean.
While Aaron just smirked at his cousin's behavior. He embraced Mai like he wanted to say that the girl was his and no one should disturb her.
