Mai escorted Aaron to his car, she seemed unwilling to be separated from Aaron. The girl didn't care even though she had a little difficulty walking because of her injured knee this afternoon.
"You've been told it's better if you just stay inside. You don't have to wait in line," Aaron quipped as he looked at Mai who was walking, grinning.
"I don't want to. I'm worried," said Mai with a sullen face, she was still annoyed with her father's behavior while inside.
Aaron smiled at that answer. The girl was worried about him of course he was happy.
Fortunately, Harry, who had looked emotional when he saw Aaron hug Mai, didn't run into him because his wife and sister prevented him. Aaron was grateful to be able to get out of the house in one piece.
"But your leg still hurts right?" The brown eyes looked worried.
Mai nodded.
"It hurts," she moaned.
"But your wound must be much more painful." Said Mai again.
