Aaron sat on the floor next to Mai. The girl still buried her head on her knees, didn't say a word, just cried.
"What should I do to make you feel better Mai?" Aaron sounded desperate. He rubbed Mai's head.
"Please stop crying. You didn't hurt me. I'm fine... Really." Said Aaron again.
Mai's emotions fluctuate, from sad, happy to sad again. From feeling guilty to feeling relieved to feeling guilty again. Her emotions are unstable, she is fragile. Aaron let Mai vent her emotions, he stayed there beside Mai, accompanying her. Until finally the girl was able to lift her head again although still in a state of sobbing.
"Sorry... Sorry... I didn't mean to... I didn't mean to," she stammered.
"Yeah... It's okay," said Aaron.
"Sorry, Ron... I'm always causing trouble... I'm useless." When he wanted to help, she made another mistake. It's always been like this.
