Mai looked for Aaron in the living room but the guy wasn't there. It turned out that Aaron was in the pantry even though Mai was already scared thinking Aaron was missing or lying unconscious, remembering the bloodstained bandage she had just found in the room.
"That suits you." Aaron smiled amused at the clothes Mai was wearing.
His clothes are too big for the girl's tiny body and Mai looks even cuter, making Aaron's heart beat faster. The boy shook his head, preventing himself from getting carried away.
"I make tea, this can warm the body," he continued.
Mai just stared at Aaron with thoughts racing through her head.
He seems okay, acts as if nothing happened, he always does but it's all just pretend, right - Mai thought sadly.
"What are you doing? How come you look like that?" asked Aaron uneasily.
"Your leg still hurts?" Aaron glanced briefly at Mai's knee which was wrapped in bandages.
